What's the big benefit involved in the movement swap ? Visually di you gain a lot ?
In this case it would just be to get the gen functioning 24hr subdial in a tungsten case as it's very unlikely Clean would release a heavy version.

This is all just speculation right now though.

Apparently since tungsten is brittle the case has chipped or broken
Just get the regular stainless steel model if you don't want to deal with tungsten shenanigans. But I haven't really hard QF having this problem definitively, I did see APSF have this issue.

Here is my QF 126529 which arrived just yesterday, fantastic and beautiful watch, with clear sunburst effect visible in the two photos from slightly different angles, I must say that the famous "milky ring around the crystal" visible in the QC photos in real life does not appear to be very Obviously for now it doesn't bother me and I don't notice it at all, so great!

Regarding the QF Le Mans, I was so extremely tempted to get the tungsten variant (I still am), but CTime's post here snapped me out of it and I will still hold on for the newest variant.

Well, like most of us, trying out the qf doesnt mean if clean will release their version at a point not to jump on it too :D
I have doubts about clean considering the tungsten in any way making another point towards Qf (i was aware about that aspf fail, but op raised this here in the qf section, hence my remark), plus clean-s timeframe on releasing rhe popular, sought after models can be much more than communicated/expected (just look at the 116506 with its years of production :D)
All.in all youre losing absolutely nothing through givin a try to this promising Qf for the time being.
Good luck and enjoy for those who are chosing this path ;)

Oh I know. The other half reason is I have 5 black dial daytonas and I don't really need a 6th lol :ROFLMAO:

I have one on hold for me as I make my decision between the tungsten version or not.

Is it work the extra $130? Thanks in advance!

Same here even for a higher number of pieces but Lemans version is/should be something different, nevertheless this is going to be my one and only 126xxx i like ;)
I have 1 126500 Black dial already, I only want the 126503 two tone, it looks like a modern Zenith Daytona, it's very cool, and the Le Mans, and that's it, unfortunately both are also black dials lol. Overall my impression with the 126500 is it's more "refined" but it loses the "elegance" and "charm" of the assymmetrical lugs of the 116500, I totally agree with you, I want to sell my BTF 126500 but I'm a little lazy haha

Personal preference. If you like the extra heft and weight on your wrist, go for it. To some the added weight is a bonus, they like having a heavy watch, to some they want it so that it's similar to white gold weight (but remeber that the color of steel is a dead giveaway), and to some it's a gimmick.

For me I would lean towards getting it, the extra $130 is nothing and I guess the extra weight is cool. But if you want to save money and actually have a more comfortable watch then get the SS.

not all TDs offer the tungsten version, it would be good to share with which TDs, prices and delays. mine does not offer it.

How many TDs you checked? Are you talking about the fact that none of them stock in on their website? Just ask them dealers don't really keep their websites super updated. Price should probably be around $750-800 from a TD.

Thanks for your input. I went ahead and advised them to go with the Tungston. I would eventually like to have it plated to give a better appearance. The tungsten comes in at ~176g while the gen is 200g on the money. I suppose why not get as close to gen weight since I’m already going for the look.
