kobe24 gilrob legend Thanks for your reply. If it is really a super clone of Cal.324SC movement, then just curious, the question remained is..
why do the major dealers (trusty, ts, pf) states that it is a modified Miyota 9015 with decorated to Cal. 324SC ? All of them are saying that it is modified Miyota 9015 with deco, not even mentioning super clone.
( I am not confused with the other factory PPF’s movement. I did triple check each description carefully at each dealer’s website description for 3KF Aquanaut multiple times. ).
What I miswrote was that the 3K clone movement has the same balance wheel position as the Miyota 9015 movement. But this was untrue as I was looking at the ZF 5167 by mistake.
I went to have a look at the 3K caliber and found that it does have the same balance wheel position as the cal.324, and therefore, I am certain that it is not a miyota 9015 movement. The listing by the dealers could be a mistake in this case. The 3K clone movement isn't a miyota base one which is decorated, but a completely new one from everything I've seen so far. What I am unsure of is the extent to which the movement was "cloned" vs gen.
