Hi all,

Just got these qc pics from torro. The swan neck obviously is way short, anything else I am missing?

This is a v3 not a beginners?

Thanks in advance.

Dog.

Just ordered a PAM111 V3N and got the QC's. I know you are not suppose to throw the question out there if there is anything wrong so here comes my indepth analysis .

Really hard to tell from the picture of the dial if it is actually pre-v hands. What do you think are they?

Also on the ingraving on the movement it seems to be "PANER AI" rather than "PANERAI" I saw someone else with this previously but I cannot find that post now. Is this anything you would worry about or am I just picky?

Here comes the noob disclaimer "Is there anything I have missed that just stands out like a sore thumb?"

As already said by Sharrkey difficult to say with such a bad pics

Concerning PANER_AI on movement it is a typical flaw of Noob replicas in movement. Read:

http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/pcteam-last-steps-134437

Concerning PRE-V hands I have enlarged and corrected the dimensions of the pic and I'm almost sure they are PRE-V Type. But the quality of the pics doesn't allow a definitive decision

Wow what a very greatly written updated always thread!
As I am very much wanting to buy now a PAM111v3 Noob,
Just I want to ask this question but please guys don't burn me on this noob queries;
1. From which dealer should I buy? I am asking who offers the PAM111 v3 noob at the cheapest including shipping and that mythical asso strap?
2. Which leather strap does the GEN come on? I know that it come with the rubber and the other is supposed to be a calf ASSO strap or some other variant of nicely made strap?
Thanks,
More power ALE and RWI!!

I don't know on the previous batchs of PAMs 111N V3 ...

But on the last 111N V3 I've seen the hands don't match the dial lume. It's more clear on the hands.

You can see it easily when lume is charged (not in the dark).

Even on the pics from our TDs you can see it's not the same colour.

Check:

Mine from Ryan has got the same.
But it's not something that jumps in your eyes.

HEre you can see a pic of a 111N V3 for a fellow member lascaux qhen it's charged and 50% dark.

With this light the non matching effect is more noticeable:

http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/lume-111n-50-133053?t=133053

that is a thread I made a while ago that questions this issue

My observations:

- When it is fully bright and sunny outside the color of the hands and dial are uniform.

- At 20-50% darkness the charged lume is more white (less green) on the hands compared to the dial

- At 100% darkness and charged lume is uniform on the hands and the dial

this poses a real problem because most of the time I am in 20-50% darkness compared to complete darkness..and if this is not gen like it is a very big tell.. can see the difference from a ways away

This is a picture of a QC pic from december:

I guess you have no replies due to all questions you are asking for are really easy to be resolve by yourself consulting threads here, dealers catalogues, webs or e-mailing them and visiting Panerai sites and Google search.
People here should make their homeworks.

Please make some investigation by yourself and ask members for more concrete matters
Just an opinion or advice

I agree with sharrkey and you are right !

But, sharrkey, be complacent with charly, because we have allowed QC pics in this thread and we should keep our commitment.
