The 411 is fantastic. I have always liked pams but have only owned the 26k and 356, both of which were excellent watches, but the polished bezel on the 411 takes it to a new level which is amazing for a low cost watch. I had Andrea at Martu make me a padded calf strap and after much deliberation have decided to put the spare prof luminor crystal I had kicking around on it because whilst the kw xtal is quite gen like, the glare is just too much when almost all of my watches are 2ar bar the rollies which are all gen.

That said, OOTB it is amazing bang for buck bar the strap which is really shitty.

Sorry for hijacking the thread a bit, but it is my first replica, and would appreciate some help form the Paneristi Below you can find my QC pictures, my concearns are:
- the lume application (especially 5&10 o'clock look a bit "blotchy" or uneven)
- Polishing on the backside of the case (not the case cover, but the case itself) seems not good enough.
I know I am buying a replica, but would still appreciate imput from experienced members if this is exceptable quality.

I would even go so far as to say the caseback is what needs polishing, not the case. I've seen highly polished casebacks on Risti. But for $129, I would hardly complain.

a) Why threadjack
b) The general idea of QC pics is to make sure the watch is the actual watch you ordered and nothing major is wrong (like one of the numbers being put on upside down), not to throw up on here and question the application of the lume because of a small shadow in the pic. For the most part when pics get blown up 20x their actual real size and put on a computer screen a LOT of things start to look imperfect. This happens even on gens all the time. Accept the watch and be happy with what you get. If not happy, sell it on m2m or fix whatever blemish you don't like

Does anyone have any advice on the level of wearing ability the factory straps are? As in we know they're not great, but just how bad can it be? Passable or does it merit an immediate strap upgrade once you receive your watch? Thanks!

Well, they can be worn, at the very least. If I would put them in order the best rep leather straps are the Assolutemente straps, followed by the cracked leather straps then the calf straps and lastly, the crocodile print straps. The last two feel like cardboard strips. But like I said, you can wear them until you can get aftermarket straps.

For my first rep I had no idea of how bad they actually were. I started ordering a strap at the same time as I ordered the rep so I would have it when the rep showed up. Unfortunately the result of that was that I wound up with a bunch of straps that aren't quite right for one reason or another. If you really want to get it perfect then you should really have the watch in hand before ordering a custom strap.

As far as wearing them while you wait. Well, I guess if this is your only watch then I suppose you could wear the cardboard strap but yes they really are that bad! Mysterio is about right on his list. I'm not putting any of those on my wrist any more, but I suppose I have become a bit of a strap snob too. Honestly though, I can't imagine anyone actually being happy with the croc rep straps
