WTH, I already sold two watches in order to fund this one, but that pearl... I keep staring at it telling myself it's not so bad... :headdesk:

The ceramic case looks perfect, so the wrong colours and ugly pearl are a chance for modders to show their skills.

I keep on looking at my QC photos thinking the pearl is bulging out but when I look at the side profile the pearl is conclave I am hoping the material used is too translucent which gives that pimple look when photographed

KW makers are my real-life friends. Back about 4 months ago, he has mentioned that the watch would only release around CNY. However, He said, they will be pushing for earlier. It seems as though, the earlier versions have been distributed to some of the dealers. The bezel has issues; coloring and stability to be precise. IMHO, wait for this watch be released perfectly before pulling the trigger on it. He has mentioned that soon in about a months time around Chinese new year, the updated bezel along with the parl version of this beauty will release. Aside from that, they have some more fabulous, jaw-dropping new projects! So hold your horses

Thanks matthew for the insider info. I love this watch to death, that pearl has made me think twice - so glad to hear they'll be fixing it.

Hi Mate,
I reside in 3 continents; EU, Asia, North America. I get to visit and talk to my friends on a daily basis; they are my long time buddies before they even got into dark side producing these reps; not precisely what you may think may be the case. They have not only been a dealer & distributor of other big makers but also makers of the KW watches. I pretty much know which models will be released in the next 6 months but then again, that's not only certain but also is kept confidential.
I just wanted to share some information and not be judged sarcastically. Afterall, forums are all about sharing information. Anyhow, great attitude you got going on.
IMHO, if you are going to keep the watch and use it for a long time, hold on for the fix. But then again, sometimes we can be a little impatient. Totally up to you but I hope it won't be too longer than what he mentioned. Afterall, stuff happens, the pearl they produce end up having issues etc. etc. BUt know that they are on it & working for the best fix. Because I know that a definite new era is on its way for KW, new watches incoming this year from not only Panerai but also very rare European brands. The level of replication on their end have tremendously improved over time; almost getting everything perfect as they move on. Maybe, pre-vendome; who knows
