PAM 508 V6F - and other versions - [ QC pics allowed ]

As we can see it seems there are indeed two versions:

ZFac- SS+DLC coating

KW-V6Fac - ceramic (because KW pics are seemingly showing the same watch as V6Fac from Puretime)

But I'm a bit lost seeing the Sead version showed in the pics. It seems no ceramic and the case is different which is this version ? Or it is just a prototype ? But in this case which is the maker of this case ??


Regarding pearl, it seems really better in the video, but it seems still a bit sloppy and with wrong colour. I saw a gen in a PAM exhibition in Oct 2013, and the lume of hands, markers, minute markers on bezel and pearl were of a more uniform ecru-orange colour (I was indeed a bit disappointed because the watch seemed even a bit boring in this regard)


What I see also a bit inaccurate is the almost glossy round markers on bezel in comparison with the matt ceramic bezel, this is for sure different from the gen.
Maybe they are not ceramic in rep, but a sandblasted or beadblasted had been enough to get matt these markers.

The ceramic case and CG, like in ceramic 438 and 441, is really awesome and the bezel knurling very nice and accurate

This is a great place. So much great analysis & information from great people. I've been looking for an accurate rep in 47mm & it's not looking like the 127 is going to be available any time soon. I just hope they iron out some of these issues on the 508.

I have not gone with a ceramic before, but this will be the first. I do have a question though. Is it the nature of the ceramic coating to have, for lack of a better term, a distressed look around some areas on the watch? I took a look at some closeup photos and it looks like a distressed look around the hour markers on the bezel and then on the back (not the actual caseback where that looks to be more uniform and I suspect that is just the nature of the titanium covering). The sides look uniform in color, so I am wondering if that is just the nature of ceramic coating on flat surfaces (whereas the sides are somewhat concave).
