btw this is a seagull version st2555 movement from KW-v6f

The marker at 6 is slightly out but it's not an issue IMO. Size the pic so the bezel is 47mm across and then see if it's gonna bother you. I doubt it will. Same with the case back. That might be nothing anyhow so ask your TD about it. If it's a scratch, they'll tell you.

it's ok PAM1983, TD just sent another QC photos of the CB and also the movement and its good, also can I ask you something regarding the the ST2555 movement, Is it really reliable, because i've read many horror story on other forums specifically on the 569 which uses the same movement, but I opted for this movement because ALE says its more reliable than the 7750 base on his guide.

I have had 3 watch with the seagull movement and 1 with the 7750. I did have one Seagull take a shit on me. The balance wheel slowed way down for some reason on the Seagull and finally stopped working. it was so strange. The 7750 you can go to a local watchSmith and they can order parts to repair it much easier than the Seagull. They are both reliable. Just need to take care of it. Get it oiled once a year for a tune up. Go to a mom and pop shop that will work on reps. A lot of guys will turn you away and get mad you brought a rep into their store. lol shrug it off and move on. I truly feel each movement is hit or miss. If you want to feel comfortable without any worries take it in to a shop when you first get it and have them oil it for you. mind youth will take off the faux plates on the back to do so. who cares because you will have a closed caseback. cheers

Hello - I am new from Chicago and approved QC for my 1st Rep ( PAM508P V6F Ceramic on Nylon Strap A7750 28800).

I noticed 2 things after I approved my QC and wondering if this is something that I should be worrying about or bother me in the future.

1) 2 black dots (not sure if it's permanent) on the 15 mark.
2) Strap pin has new stripe mark (Is this norm? no biggie, but just questionable..)

I did mention about the QC pic not being a nylon strap and he will switch it before he send it out to me.

By the way, QC pic has a very nice lumes ;)

cheers, HGK

Since approved already - the screw is new to me. Never seen that. Getting a new one is not hard though or expensive. The dots are likely permanent but you can potentially cover up. Both things no one but you will ever notice. Looks great and good purchase and choice!

Unfortunately, these are not standard size. Normal lug bars won't fit, they are too long.
The 15 minute marker looks crooked to me and there might be a scratch right above the 15 marker, I'm seeing something on both photos there that doesn't seem to be a reflection. Crown guard lever doesn't align with the case as well.
I probably would have rejected this one, just too many small issues.

I've ordered DLC PAM508 V6F, for custom mode purpose. I don't need GEN look-a-like precision but I do need that case is in excellent order. Please take a look at the pictures and tell me what you think about spot in red circles. Are those dents in DLC material or what ?

Have you asked the TD to wipe the bezel? Those "dents" might just be smudges.

Nope, contacted TD, there is issue after all (he wasn't specific about it). Waiting for new watch or new bezel from factory.

There is issue but he won't specify so you're sure it's the bezel? Okay...

There is issue with the spots on bezel I marked on the picture, TD confirmed that (it 's not my conclusion, it is his conclusion). But he hasn't specified what kind of issue. It could be dent, it could be bad DLC coating, it could be something third, but definitely it is an issue. I haven't asked for specific details after he told me that watch is either being replaced completely or just the bezel (if rest of the watch is fine). I don't really care, as long as the issue is rectified. :)

Which movement to pick? Lucy recommended. KW/V6 version and said it's available now with either Seagull or A7750. Looking through this thread I see beautiful versions with both movements. Reading the PAM guide it seems like it's a matter of personal preference. Only problem is that I know nothing so I have no personal preference. Any advice guys?

The seagull version is cheaper than the A7750 version so if you want a lower price, go with the seagull. Its only caveat is that if the seagull needs repair, you'll need to replace the whole movement. The A7750 version is very popular and your watchmaker can buy just parts to repair or replace IF it breaks down. Reliability wise they are almost equal.
