It looks fine in the first pic. its probably fuzz or dust sitting on the edge of the 30 marker.

Probably going to go ahead, and pick up either a Sead Special, (although have a real problem with the Hub-Cap CP).
There is a member over on RG that I picked up a 386 from, and just ordered a 571 from. Will be here no later than Sat. He stated that he has a nice 360 collectin dust, and is checking which factory it is for me. If a reasonable price, I will order from him, sans the Hub-Cap. LOL!!!
Yes, I know you can change the hands to do away with the Hub Cap CP, but then again, you have to find hands that match. And that is a pita and cost as well!
If nothing else, I will pick up the Sead, and put a 111 movement and dial in it.
I have found Bare DLC cases for sale, but they cost quite a bit more than the complete watch from Sead! Grrrr!!! :-(

am i supposed to be able to manually wind this watch? when I manually wind it, it seizes and feels like it might break if I go further. However if I turn it the other way (clockwise, towards me) it 'unscrews' I can see it literally move into the date position then it starts to change the date and eventually the time and I am not able to push it back down. I would have to screw it back in to put it back into normal winding position.

that's too bad, was hoping to rock it over the weekendI've seen two 508s now and they both had a little gap between the bezel and case and I was able to see a metal color. Was I just unlucky or are they all like that?

I just recently got my V6F version less than a month ago from Sead and mine doesn't have the raised nipples..

To answer your question, mine too had a gap, but it's incredibly tiny. I'm not sure what the reflection in the middle is coming off of exactly, but that's the only way I can see it.

I still say the V6F is the best after the research I've done on it. Maybe others can chime in.

I can manually wind my watch just fine like any other automatic watch. It is easy to turn and definitely doesn't seize...
Just got this, dont see any nipples but lume seems odd on hands and "30" bezel marker seems a tad off.

Looking at your QC pics, the 30 marker looks fine to me. The hands being a different lume color in the pic could easily be how the camera picked up the lighting.
