Anybody knows, is it possible in any way for me to swap CG & Crown from 382 KW (7750) to 382 V6F (ST2555) ?
The reason is because I don't like the appearance of V6F crown's a bit sticking out from the body and due to the crown being a bit thinner than KW's.

Should be straight forward. You have to unscrew the stem from the crown - the thread should be the same in Both crowns?
And then install the stem in the fat crown - I know there is a thread about it - will look for it later - it is about setting the stem in the correct depth in the crown.

And regarding the crownguard, I would take Both cg off and measure to see if they are interchangeable, or Can be modified to fit.

One thing about this rep. The strap that came with it was so dried out it was literally crunchy. Made a crackling noise when I bent it. So, while I'm waiting for couple straps to arrive I went to work on it with mink oil. It worked, the leather drank it right up and is looking and feeling much better

I got the impression that the strap that comes with it is suppose to look like that... crunchy and crackly. lol
My bronzo will be here soon and I don't plan to use that strap anyway. don't like the look of dark brown with that rep for some reason.
but good to know it responds well to oil.... I'll use the strap for something else.

That crunchy crackey leather is just some kind of coating that can easily be removed with a little lacquer thinner ...you might find a decent leather that is much lighter in color underneath as I did .

I cleaned mine up like that while waiting for a canvas strap and it's quite wearable once the crackey stuff is removed and also quite water friendly. I spent a week with mine in the ocean and it stayed wet for a week ... it may not look beautiful but it is very resistant and robust.

Hands size on the little subdials are different in swiss 7750 afaik, so the seconds hand will most likely need to be modded to fit.

Okay, I wonder, how many makers of 382 is really out there?
I've known KW, I've heard ZF, and this version is being made by V6F ??

ive never had a problem fitting the Asian sub seconds hand on a Swiss. It is only .03mm different. Asian is 0.20mm versus the Swiss pinion at 0.17mm

the main challenge is on the chronograph as the center second hand is .20mm on the Asian versus .25mm on the Swiss. But even this is a simple matter of a watchsmith with a broach. No big deal.

Yes it does matter. Water tight integrity is compromised with the skinny crown and the crown guard lever not snapping shut tight to create a seal. end of story. besides that it looks fine

I just noticed the back looks weird. its says OFFIGINE instead of OFFICINE and the Jewel is missing an L.

First marker beside the crown is also missing some paint filling.

Or is it my eyes playing tricks on me?

IF they don't just check does the CG lever snap shut pretty firmly or is it loose? If your watch isn't water-proof that would be a big thing IMO.

If it snaps shut then the water integrity COULD be ok ...have it tested to be sure.

Some aesthetic deviations don't matter to some people ..to others they do.

That OFFIGINE instead of OFFICINE is pretty big blunder though.. IMO.

I wonder if it could be just a loose fleck of something that happened to fall right there on the C to make it look like a G.

Hi, friends!

I also have doubts about which version is my Bronzo.

Specially because I've bought it from a local seller here in Brazil.

From what I've read here, it's a KW with Seagull.

It came with a nice crown and chamfered CG.

The lever is tight and makes the so called "slap" when I'm closing it.

The 15, 30 and 45 minute markers on the bezel are glossy.

And the bezel is more pinkish than the case.

Well, let's see the pictures.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my new baby.
