Hi guys, 3rd QC from Kurvasit and I'm on the brink of giving up and getting a 511 instead. Any comments on this?
You do realize that sometimes a patina will form that looks like plating has rubbed off. The ZF is not plated. It's been around long enough where there would have been a lot more noise about it. The talk of ZF's composition comes from the fact that they didn't provide ALE with a case to cut and have analyzed. Doesn't mean it's not bronze. It just means we don't know the exact chemical makeup. My ZF v4 looks pretty damn good.
Does anyone notice the 12 (ll) look a bit slanted or is it just me?
Even if it is, is there a way I can adjust it myself?
yes it rubbed off to steel and I filed a bit on the inside of the crown guard and it was steel

Latest update, what do you guys think? Amanda was even kind enough to take a video for me regarding the dial - can't tell if the 12(ll) is aligned properly or just light reflections as mentioned by kilowattore (thanks) above?

Yes I agree
That doesn't meant ZF is not bronze, just that we don't know the exact chemical composition of a ZFac sample
In the same way the KW analysis only assure that the sample I got is real bronze. We should trust KW regarding the consistency of the material used.
ALE
well the dealer was Ryan from intime he is a trusted TD on here so I went with him the watch did have the zf tag on the buckle

You must be using Google translate as I am still lost. The caseback of the PAM382 isn't bronze but Titanium as it is to prevent sweat (which is water with salt, similar to sea water) which would cause patina to develop, not a desirable outcome.
I'm having a hard time posting pics from my phone but if any of you guys want to PM me you email I'll be glad to send pics and you can post them
Sent you my email. Pictures and a video of you scraping the bronze plating off the watch would be nice.
