PAM 382 Bronzo - QC Pics allowed Thread

it doesn't look like an old version but ...when I'll get the new QC Pics I will post them.....

Let me clarify by what I mean by "old version" ....the color looks like the original bronze that came out early last year.

I would just be cautious thats all. Just trying to save someone some heartache. Review everything before final purchase and QC pics would be wise to post first for a better decision.

I had posted the QC pics that I received but Ryan said me that he found a problem with the movement and so I'm waiting for new QC Pics of another pam382 [emoji6]

Thank you for all your hard work. But have you reviewed the latest version ZF?

I don't agree due to some reasons:

If you read PAM GUIDE you can see the main differences between two versions, leaving aside the upper external edge of the bezel, KW version is better and more accurate, CG and CG chamfered, caseback, vertical and horizontal sections of bezel knusrling, LUME (colour and intensity), inscriptions, Cannon pinion.... besides Seagull NON-inverted
movement is more accurate and cheaper and very reliable.

And we know the real composition of KW bronze, almost the same as gen, whereas we don't have data of ZFac bronze

Due to above commented the most sure value is KW version

Thank you for all your hard work. But have you reviewed the latest version ZF?

I don't recall ALE, nor anyone else, reviewing latest ZF version. It's not like he can review every single release.

Only a few QC pics showed up so far, and to me it looks very good and improved, but there really is not enough for evaluation.
One point made by ALE still stands though: ZF did not send him a sample for chemical analisys. We can only assume ZF bronze is the same as gen, while we are sure kw has essentially the same chemical composition as the gen CuSn8.

Anyway, as usual we need a volountary that can take 20/30 good pics of this new ZF version and post them here.
Or if you have one you can send it to me: I'll shoot the pics and keep the watch for compensation! :greedy:

So just to clarify, all of them will wash up to the rose bronze look? Reason i am asking is I'm looking at getting one soon. I really like the fresh look without patina. Do you have an example of a rep cleaned up to "like new"?

I think you will get disappointed due to two reasons.

1-Bronze CuSn8 is not as red as you want, whatever is the colour you have seen on pics (gen or reps). Red hue is even smaller than the red gold colour
2-Clean surface in Bronze lasts few time because it gets some patina in some days

Therefore don't expect a reddish colour and lasting forever

I think you might be happier with the cheap Pam 507. It is rose gold plated with the color you are looking for... And you won't have to worry about patina. I had one and it's actually quite nice for the price... Hefty weight with a working power reserve.
