Substar Looks awesome! Add a gen crystal and rep spotters will have a really hard time to recognize this...
Some outdoor shots which disappointingly shows the hand lume doesn’t match. They look more like ARF lume colour. There is also a gap on the clasp but I’ll sort that.

Yep. The dial markers are a perfect shade but the hands are too white in certain lighting conditions. A shame to be honest but doesn’t effect my overall opinion of the watch.
I’ve just swapped the crystal gasket as the ZF measured 2.72mm and I had one that was 2.65mm and it looks better now.
Also I have a CF insert from my ZZF V2S ND and you can clearly see the difference to this improved October version in all lighting but especially low light.

Impressed with the insert.
I only have a small table lamp on in the corner of the room and taken on iPhone X.
Looks like the best ootb sub 116610ln for no modding? That non matching lume is a real bummer in the pictures i dont really see a big difference but real life is the most important part..

Can I ask how long the lume stays bright for at night? Also think that the lume is probably the same type on the face markers and hands, but maybe applied thinner on the hands hence why we see the colour difference in different light. If it's thinner on the hands the metal behind the lume might darken it? That or the hands and markers are from different suppliers.

The lume charges well but how long it remains bright in the dark I don’t know as I’ve only had it a few hours. I suspect the hands are lumed in a different factory using a slightly different mix but in most conditions they match to be honest so I’ll see how it goes or I might swap in some gen hands.

Thelume lasts extremely well. Readable at 6 in the morning from my experience

My in-depth review will be coming, but overall my feeling is that 'you get what you pay for', having had a ZZF, multiple noobs, and BP/GMF. This is a cut above the rest, and the crystal is VERY good. All of the finishes and fits are very good.
One thing I've noticed is that it is hard to capture the apple green with the camera as the camera itself will balance and tone down the green right away after the pic has been taken. The insert is really fantastic, which is something I'm quite picky of.

Im liking the depth of the dial how does it react in different light, do you think it differs to the zzf

Mine is 7.5” and I took 2 links out from the 12 o’clock side but have the extension extended quite a long way out.
