Some angles look very gen like and now I wish I had a zf rehaut

I like the Kermit but not a lover of the green dial. I’ve had a couple of gens through my hands and just can’t warm to it!

Right then. My Ln has arrived so first impressions!
Impressive finish and by far the best so far. The bracelet is very good and smooth and the first I won’t have to soak in oil! Clasp is also very good with nice bevelled edges and a positive secure close. Best bit is the extension slide, it snaps shut better than any I’ve had before other than gen. brushing is excellent too. Sels have decent recess too.
Case is very well done and I like the cg’s too which is subjective and I’ll probably agree they are a fraction shorter than gen. crown is nice and screws in smoothly and tighter to the case than some I’ve seen. Rehaut depth, angle and engraving is by far the best on the market.
Insert appears to be the latest CF as it has good low light visibility and the bezel teeth look good too. Action is positive and not too tight/stiff.
Datewheel is not a standard VR like the ZZF and has slightly thicker pre2015 fonts. Slight negative is it does sit a fraction below centre on some mid teen dates but not enough to trigger my ocd!
Dial is nice and does have a centre dimple as many gens. Markers are nicely rounded too. The hands are very good and possibly the best rep hands. No edge roughness on mine. Slight negative is the lume appears a little whiter than markers in lower light but full light matches perfectly.
Crystal has a perf3ct edge profile with very good clarity and the cyclops has a pretty good black hole effect too. Possibly not quite as strong as vsf or gen but good enough to not swap. In my opinion. Blue tint in cyclops is not as obvious as the vsf either.
Crystal height is maybe .5mm higher than ideal but not a major concern to me.
Overall feel compared to gen is very very good on the ZF and I personally feel it is on balance the best Sub and worth the extra $100 but everyone has to judge that for themselves. I can only give my view having had all variations albeit not at the same time.
