Is there any version with same swiss movement than the genuine? Or not possible?

You just need a 0.2mm small sub hand

New to disassembling watches this far. Please advise.

I took apart a dhgate moonswatch rep and this is what I see. It looks very different to whatever is shown in the pictures here with the gear to remove circled in red. Please help identify what I need to do next to get to the right gear to remove.

Unfortunately you removed the back side of the movement. You need to remove the dial side- the one with the date wheel.

If you can't get it back together- just order another movement.

Reread this thread carefully- there are great photos of the process.

Don't be afraid to ask questions before moving forward

Thanks for this thread. Just did mine.

The small hands are quite bad quality tough. Boy I lost of time setting them back and I broke a pinion (even if I use a presto tool for it!)
The movement part was the easy part : )

They are a pain.

Putting the moment at eye level- like on a shoebox - helps tremendously getting those little guys on properly.

I'd say it could possibly be easier, I can't comment on how it would look.
Given how close the small hand sits to the subdial anyway, wouldn't it look just like the dial on the left if it was glued since it's not a big recess? While not super close up, that link does have some pics after the mod was done.

I don't have any of those tools that will help me put hands back on, so I'm thinking I'll try that method instead of removing all the hands and going after the gear and then having to put them all back again.

I'll admit I've never even popped a whole movement out of a watch case until this one.

New updated versions have different back case, harder to take apart but maybe more waterproof!

Definitely harder to take apart. Kinda have to wrench from the inside of the fake battery cover.

That being said, they still seem very fragile. Second one I got (blue / neptune) had its crown and half the stem fall out (and can't be reattached) while I was trying to adjust the time. Didn't even get to taking it apart. Now the watch keeps ticking, but the time can't be adjusted and the crown can't be trusted to stay in.

I don't know how these can be this shit. If they are indeed all this fragile, perhaps it's better off living with the subdial the way they are.

@Geonor

Forgive me for returning to this old topic.

Any advice on how to put the hands on the subdials? I almost went crazy.

Thanks

use rodico to position, not tweezers

also there is a way to move the needle, using the pushers (i don't remember how but it's somewhere in the thread)

First make sure the pins are still there and you haven't bent them or messed them up when placing back the top cover/bridge or the dial.

As for placing the subdial hands I think I just used regular plastic tweezers and a pen style hand presser but you might have better luck with rolling out some rodico to a thin sausage shape and using that to position the hand.

The way to move the hands when they are positioned is to pull the crown to the time setting position and use the pushers to advance them. Top pusher to move the main chrono seconds hand and bottom pusher to move the chrono minutes hand. Hold to advance quickly, click to move slowly.
