I have measured it with Vernier scale and it is exactly 21 mm - that should be the exact measure of the V2 bracelet, right? :)

Probably. There are 2 case versions. V1 has 20mm lugs and V2 21.xmm

Hello, i need some opinions.
My Nato strap us bigger than the space between lugs and i belive that it's posible that the nylon scratch the metal in the lugs because the friction. What do you think?

Thanks.

Hi All,

Long time lurker; first time poster. Hijacking this thread is not my intent; only to add to the discussion. I never knew that this hobby existed until I fell in love with the Limited Edition "Spectre" watch and did some googling. Since, I have been reborn! Well, maybe not, but I would love to acquire a few reps of watches that I have been coveting lately, beginning with the "Spectre."

I know this has been spoken about before, but after 100+ pages, I couldn't find it again. I have been trying to decide which TD to purchase from, but just can't decide; would anyone be so kind as to offer some advice? At this point, I am leaning towards Intime or Purtime. I would assume that most TD's are outside of the US and remember reading (I believe on one of their websites) about the potential for items being caught in customs. Is this something I should be concerned with, or am I just being too paranoid? I don't feel that I would even notice any stuttering, however, I may consider getting a gen NATO strap with the 007 branding if I can make it so...I know that's a tall order.

On a side note, I believe one of these pages mentions that Daniel Craig pronounces it "Omeeega" in Casino Royale and they were under the impression it was because Daniel Craig wears Rolex's and may have done this as a "dig." The Nerdist podcast had Daniel Craig on shortly after the release of "Spectre," and he pronounces it "Omeeega" in this interview also, leading me to believe it is simply the Brit in him. And, it's a fun hour to listen to...

Now if I could only find a replica of the John Varvatos Racer, goat suede jacket...

Thank you in advance for your time!

Welcome welcome.

Those TDs have great feedback. I personally have gotten all mine from PT. Great service.

Customs risk is a fact of the hobby. Good TDs will back you up if you have that problem. Search the forum here and you will see many threads.

Consider waiting to order now until 3/1 as C New Year is running and everything shuts down until then.

A pic for the Undecided [emoji6]

Got it from chazingtime, also good TD!

It's a V2, it looks really nice, but it stutters and the movement rattles.
I don't mind the stuttering, but the rattling is quite annoyning. Can i somehow fix that?

I'm no expert, nor am I a modder so I'm not making a suggestion here - just telling you what I use. I have a bottle of Liberty synthetic oil I use on my rotors. I've heard people say it's fine, and I've heard people say it will cause your watch to catch fire and explode, blowing your hand completely off. My experience has been that I put a tad on the rotor bearing and it quietens down most of them. I've been using it for three years and have yet to have any sort of problem. Is it good? I don't know. Is it crap? Doesn't seem to be. Would an expensive bottle of oil infused with the tears of Swiss watchmakers be better? Yep. But I use it and it works for me. But if your hand gets blown off its not my fault lol
Instructions unclear: blew my own goddamn hand off!
Thanks, I was trying to decide if the swiss watch maker tear oil was absolutely needed, but found quite a few mentions of the liberty. I am going that direction and we'll see how it goes!

I have the rotor noise as well, really a near deal killer for me on this. If you see my above post, I spoke the JAFO about opening it up and lubing the rotor. I am going to try liberty oil, and I bought a cheapie watch repair tool online. We'll see how it goes! Luckily I have unnoticeable stuttering on my watch.

Just keep in mind you only need a tiny amount of oil. The oil has a hypodermic like needle spout but I do not use that to apply the oil. I use a tooth pic with just a little bit on the tip and get that in the bearing.

The worst one I ever received was the DJ I ordered for my daughter. The box was literally vibrating when Dennis The Mailman handed it to me. That's never a good sign. And holy hell, it was loud. Now, my kid has tiny wrists so I'm sizing the bracelet and for the first time ever the person at the factory actually tightened down the screws. Really tight. And I'm using the proper screwdriver from my watch tool kit and it slips and I stabbed it through the tip of my thumb. So now I'm bleeding all over the sumbitch. Finally get it sized then pop the back to take a look and everything looks fine. But the damn thing just didn't seem right. Anyway, she wanted to wear it for a few days before I sent it to my modder to have him really give the movement a good going over. So I get it all back together and clean all the blood off and she puts it on. An hour later she brings it to me and says she can't wear it because it's so freaking loud lol. At this point I'm so aggravated I pack it up and take it to the PO and off it goes. My modder gets it and cleans and oils and whatever other black magic he does and it comes back really quiet.

I've got two 6694 handwinds that I love. Mainly because they are silent lol. I know all of these movements are bone dry when they slap em in a watch but it seems like the rotor noise is a lot worse these days and oil doesn't always do the trick.

I always use a toothpick to put a tiny amount of bearing grease on the rotor bearing. It's really thick grease but that keep the rotor from spinning like crazy and it also helps a wobbly rotor

Was reading the omega forums and I found this picture of all the 007 watches. Thought was cool and wanted to share.

Are spectre omegas from pure and intime great reps or they have some flaws.
Is it worth to order now from them or wait to fix some issues?
Are issues minor?
