My PLO is on the truck for delivery!
Thats always the best news when you check the tracking and it says out for delivery.
Ill post some pics up later today.
Too bad my mesh isn't in from Canada yet...its been 11 days so far :(

Truth! (Except for when you buy from an international member and see "outbound out of customs", that's better :D )

A "poor mans" Ploprof mesh approach..>>>>

I haven't decided which bracelet I'm going with, and I'm way too cheap to keep buying different ones to "try them on", so I yanked this 22MM mesh off a
drawer queen quartz I got a couple of years ago at Wally World for @ $20.00...I used a couple of tiny O rings on each end to keep it somewhat tight, and wore it all day yesterday... :

So far, it's quite comfortabe, and unless you KNOW what a Plopper mesh SHOULD look like, it ain't that bad!!

Hey, looks nice!
You've vintagized your ploprof, haven't you? ... and that type of bracelet just fits the general look wonderfully!

Just got mine today! It was on the truck for delivery yesterday but I stepped out for a half hour and missed it.

The extension in the clasp was so loose it wouldn't even stay in the smallest position. So I took the little screws out and replaced the small springs with longer/stronger ones. I found a bic lighter and took the spring that holds the flint in place out. I then sized it up to the existing springs in the clasp and made it 1mm longer and put it back together. It's so strong now, even if I yank on the rubber when it's in the smallest position on my wrist it doesn't come loose. Game changer if you ask me an only took 2 minutes to fix after I found a small enough spring.

Anyway here is a quick cell phone shot of the white Swiss Ploprof. I can't wait to get the mesh I ordered 12 days ago...!

OH, and my bezel lock works, and you cannot spin the bezel without pushing the orange button. I read somewhere that the button & bezel didn't function like gen, but in reality it does.

Yours is a V2 then if the bezel lock works. Do you have the diver's extension on the clasp as well?

Yes, the clasp is the updated one with the divers extension.
I love this thing on the rubber but can't wait to get the mesh on!

And anyone who is experiencing the loose adjustment in the clasp, swap them weak springs out. Thats the only cause of the looseness.

The lume is fantastic. Is the lume on the dial and bezel supposed to match?
It dies off a little fast, but nothing PBdad can't take care of. It will be goin to him after I wear it for a week or so.

That's the only thing I don't like about the V2, is the bezel lume is inaccurate to gen. V1/V1.5's have it pretty much nailed:

That last pic, is it from a v2 or a v1/1.5?

And in what regard is the v2 lume off??? I know of the numbers on the bezel being too greyish in daylight, but for the rest...

I'm on the verge off going for the exact same watch.
I still hesitate with the 21j version, but v2 is really better and the Asian 2836 version is not much more expansive... So...

I'm not sure. The white version has a different style lumed bezel because it's white. I'm not sure how the white gen lume is though.

Quick shot I just took with my iPhone and Camera+
