i have just unwrapped mine from lay. quality. supaparts mesh arrived today also how cool was that
and to top it all off supaparts sent a nice 24mm black leather free because of a delay in shipping.

Compare this QC pic from Josh on mine....Notice the time, date, and carefully examine the background!! even the small blemish on the background "molding" is the same...!!!!!

It looks like yours was photographed # 3 minutes before mine, at the same site, but....I got my QC pics 5 DAYS AGO!!
I suspect that these pics are taken in bulk, before the watches are even sold, at the factory source location, since these came from ostensibly separate dealers....
I thought they were a thing of the past..!!

Can't be taken in bulk prior to being sold because my order number is on a sticker stuck to the strap in a few of the other photos.
Looking at a few other QC pictures, lots of them have the time set *around* 3:15-3:30 as far as the date, maybe its just a coincidence.

Could just be that all dealers really work together and shoot their QC pics all at the same venue... maybe in batch, and then, when they have the time, they send the pics to customers. So two pics may be taken, in real at 3 minute intervals, and end up in the mail boxes 3 days distant, sent by different dealers.
That wouldn't really surprise me, in fact

That the pics are shot at the source of the watches, by the folks that supply the dealers...Not by the dealers themselves...I have seen, for instance, 2 different diagnostic machine setups used by "Trusty", one labeled only in English, and one labeled in Eng and Chinese....This one appears to be the same one used by PC to test my Plopper.
I also presume that the same folks taking the pics are actually doing the shipping too...As an alternative to "blind" drop shipping, this is a big step forward, since the dealers also get to at least see the pictures before the unit is shipped...
For several years, I limited my rep purchases to CONUS shipped situations, to avoid dealing with drop shippers, but IMNSFHO, this evolution of the process has given me the confidence that I'll at least get what I ordered, without having to deal with the nightmare of return shipping!!
Now...if they can only figure out a way to sidestep customs..!!!!
