TY for this great list/post.

Question: Why was the 18.Rolex Yachtmaster Rhodium Noob SA3135 added to the list instead of the Yachtmaster Rhodium Noob A2836 ?

Is there any (!) visual difference?

I'd love some tips...

1 tip. Dont follow the crowd when investing. Everyone is a pussy when it comes to spending money. With any investment there is always a bit of risk but the trick is to minimise your risk by doing proper research and do not be a sheep and follow the majority.

I just posted my gen Rolex collection all bought in 2016. It was a good year for investments and making decent coin just so show the haters on here I ain't lying about anything. I never lie in real life and in business. I learnt this the hard way when I was in my mid 20s that lying gets you nowhere.

The logo and name are actually part of the design in every way. I think homages look kind of naked, unfinished and as a result a bit weird.
Exactly! I feel the same way.
If you take Breitling for example, different models have different logos....some have wings, some just a "B".
So if they would swap a "B" logo to some wings (even if it's the same brand) it would just not be harmonious any more and, as already stated, a bit weird.

ok, they wouldnt sell if they had some random logo on them either.

The point is, you could take the exact same watch, one branded as Rolex and one branded as Brand X, and the Rolex one would sell due to its name.

As for no logo looking weird, i kinda prefer it. Especially if Im building the watch. Starts off the watch building convo since they dont see a logo and cant tell what it is.

I buy a Rep because I like the design and if there is a homage version or differently branded version they're usually not as refined as a Rep, of course this does depend on whatever is available.
Plus, on a lot of look-a-likes the brand name is poorly sized (too f'n big or bold) and a dumb name to begin with.
I would like to find what I like with a non-luxury branded label because I don't want to come off wrong, but to fill the above criteria is hard so Reps it is!

In case you haven't seen, I have compiled a visual list of the super reps mentioned here, in a new "clean" topic. But, if a volunteer would be kind enough to give me the factory references, it would be great and would improve the list.

Thank you.
