Came into this thread expecting to get some nice suggestions for my next rep, left with enough knowledge to get an MBA and CFA. Thanks guys.

So I tried to sum up a few mentions here and in other threads too for the update of this helpful list and the following reps might be worth considering:
- Rolex GMT Master II (CHS) __ NOOB
- Rolex Explorer II (CHS) __ NOOB
- Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 __ NOOB
- Rolex Explorer I (V2) __ JF
- Omega Aqua Terra __ V6F?
- JLC Master Compressor Diver __ ?
Thanks @EkaSN for your insights!I have Omega AT V6F, its very beautiful..
The saphire is very clear..
But as long i can see, the exhibition back case wont be the same as gen..
since the reps using 8215..
Thanks @EkaSN for your insights!
Maybe @replikmaster could give us some thoughts regarding JF's new take on the Explorer?
Saw some of your pics...looking good!
Oh, and I remember another stunning picture of @chronomate showing the JLC Diver, which also led to adding it on my wishlist after the Ex II
Your opinion really would be appreciated!
I get your point about transforming a $240k investment into $540k in 2 years but that's a 100% increase in 2 years under special circumstances. $10k into 50k is a 400% increase in 1 year. Not saying it's not possible but these are special circumstances. People like to remember the good investments and forget the bad. I'm sure you have money, I'm not doubting you, but if you could consistently turn those profits you would be a billionaire by now.
Theoretically I could turn $400 into 100k in a year. Not a big deal, but for obvious reasons this won't be "passive". Anyone can make money with some kind of starting capital, the important factor here is how much work there's involved. If you can wisely invest 10k (passively) and make 50k in a year, then that's impressive. But that's really only achievable with a high leveral+risk factor.
How about the finishing of ap and patek? U mentioned that the appearance is close but I was wondering if the rep would also conspicuously look poorly brushed/polished.I visited my AD over the holidays, and tried on a few gens-- I found that my rep PAMs were within 1-5% of the gens, but the AP and Patek gens were easily 2x the quality and feel. The appearance is close on all of them, but there is a feel in quality, weighting and fit that just cannot be replicated. I did end up buying a couple gen OEM straps for the PAMs, and asked him to source a used 024C for 3400. That is the only gen I am considering at this point.

I checked out both rep and gen of diver v7. Dangerously close and that's how I love em.
