Not worth buying in gen

It is also the much clearer look, but that's my personal opinion.

But I'd like to discuss for beeing on this list, does the V7 with the greyish bezel-insert really fits in here?

Don't get me wrong, I really like to wear my V7 no-date on a weekly basis but....
In comparison the Tudor Black Bay, which I have in Burgundy as gen, is the much better rep and really that accurate I had difficulties finding differences (I must say it's kinda hard to justify owning one as a gen). But I think we agree on this.

What I want to say is, if we take the Tudor BB as a benchmark, I don't think Noob's Sub V7 would make it onto this list.
And maybe some others too...

I know, I haven't been that long into the rep game as others and there has been times, where reps weren't that accurate by far, but despite liking the V7 a lot myself, I really have a hard time seeing it on this list compared to the accuracy of the Tudor BB or some PAMs.
Thats the reason why I don't buy the v7 because the bezel engravingcolor look nothing like gen.

AP RO and or AP ROO can't be in this list. They are great rep nobody can deny that..but difference in thickness is a dead giveaway and straight away cut them off this list

And the date location. Easy tell. I love them regardless.

And the crown location. Any 42mm AP ROO rep can be spotted at the very first sight. OTOH the modded one with all these three flaws fixed IMO indeed could be a candidate for the list. Pretty hefty price tag for a rep though. But clearly a proof it's doable.

OK, my next contribution to this thread is the new 38.5 mm Aqua Terra... I owned the Gen of this watch (bottom 2 pics) and sold it due to it being to thick and heavy (the head). the rep is only slightly thinner, but does feel lighter on my wrist, (sorry pic of the rep isn't so good but camera is not focusing properly)

But looks and shines just like the gen, Dial work is immaculate to my eye.

SO my point is I actually prefer the rep, plus the movement would be easier to service than the Co-Axial

Awesome, can't wait to hear your thoughts. Thanks! I'm also curious what everyone's thoughts are going to be on that new Air King as well. Love this forum!

Me too. I have been active on various Gen Fora for over 20 years, still a moderator on one. The level of behaviour and friendliness on RWI would put most Gen Fora to shame.

I think this goes for many forums regardless of the type of activity/hobby. In general the anonymity, safety, distance that the internet provides leads lots of penis waving and inflated or easily bruised egos. It is nice to see, for the most part that the members here are civil to each other.

Agreed!
I think this forum flies directly in the face of the popular assumption (outside of the rep hobby) that people wearing the "fake watches" are just dbags trying to impress everyone.
This forum proves to me that the opposite seems to be true.
We love our watches because we worked hard to find the perfect representation or modded it in just the perfect way for us and we care for each other here like family because no one else outside of the hobby gets it.
They have no idea why we spend money on any of this.
The people here (even the cocky ones. Lol) are the best guys I've met on ANY forum of any type and honestly, even if I went all gen and gave up all my reps, I'd still hang out here.
I always meet one or two good people wherever I visit online BUT the massive amount of truly awesome people here is something I doubt I'll ever come across online anywhere else!
Long live RWI!
