2824Tc has a conversion kit to swap to a 2836 . I'd suggest this route.

If you just want to tighten the loose SEL play, what's the best/easiest way to do that?

To eliminate the wobble completly i used the originat springbars. I just had to grind the tips a bit in order to make them smaller in diameter.I read the whole thread. The fixes are mostly with regards to how to make the SEL recessed vs unrecessed, however it seems even after modding it they report there's still some play. I'm most concerned with the wobblyness and less about how recessed it is and was wondering which method is best if your main goal is to tighten it.
