Sorry...distracted by my 3 year old. Yes, 2824 movement, movement holder and handset. I just finished converting my SOSF with a gen 2836, so that is on my mind.

Hey guys.

Thank you for all you kind words [emoji12] but my watch came back from the dead [emoji16] .

So even though the movement stopped working i decided to wear the watch on the way back home from a trip.

Somehow it started running again and now keeps great time, not like before when it lost 5 minutes / hour.

I guess the movement has a debree that keeps blocking a gear. Since no watchsmith is willing to service this clone i am willing to try it myself.

I read the whole thread. The fixes are mostly with regards to how to make the SEL recessed vs unrecessed, however it seems even after modding it they report there's still some play. I'm most concerned with the wobblyness and less about how recessed it is and was wondering which method is best if your main goal is to tighten it.

To eliminate the wobble completly i used the originat springbars. I just had to grind the tips a bit in order to make them smaller in diameter.

This way the springbar should eventually pop in the lug hole.

As some other members have mentioned this method does not achieve gen look anyway so i find it pointless now.
