Oh yes sir, I do agree that ARF dials are better than Noob's.

What I was referring to were the other variations of 7750s which are horrendous: both dial and bezel.

Comparison between aftermarket, ARF and Noob dial.

In pictures it's not obvious but in real life the ARF dial has a milky tone, while the gen and aftermarket dials are more porcelain white.

Creamy Panda 116500 dials are not a flaw or tell. There have been Gen batches with cream colored white dials.

A comment in that linked thread states that Hont didn't know about this and is willing to issue a refund if the watch is returned.

My comment was sarcastic, it has dandong 4130 movement and unless it is 13mm i dont think it is a scam if on this the rehaut doesnt have the serial engraved or the daytona is less red..

surely a permutation

call it the delta or south african variant ..

Well, f#ck.

I placed and order for one of these and didn't notice the serial at all, I was more focused on the crown being aligned on the rehaut and a few other bits. Completely missed the curved lugs too, I guess I got caught up in the excitement of one finally being available. :-(.

Between those two threads there were over 162,000 views, over 1000 responses, and 62 likes, but the Mods never did make it a "sticky". Far more useful than the Daytona sticky that was placed there, in my opinion. That's why I almost never post on this forum anymore.

No, that's was why I never picked it up, I was too focused on other things. I mean, I'm sure that I'll be happy with it overall but it's a bit annoying knowing that it's not a proper Noob, and even more so that it's not like you can swap it into an ARF case to resolve the issue with the lug shape.

Unless there are any bright ideas about how to solve the problem?

Since no one will sell me a noob, I’m looking at the Trusty noob Daytona stock. Has anyone had luck with the gold models? The ice blue chestnut brown also looks decent

After seeing the latest $1188 "Noob" has no serial number I have a hard time believing there are any NOS Noobs left. How can there be, Noob has been gone for 6 months. Parts are still available obviously, but I think it's pretty unlikely that anything for sale now would have all the same parts as any batch of Noobs did. BTW the 4130 is listed separately for sale on Ali Express albeit at ridiculous prices.
