I went for the ARF daytona’s xtal which has a slight A/R for my noob v3. Cheaper alternative and love the result!

What’s the difference between the ARF/NOOB XTAL?
Which one is more gen like and which have a better LEC?

I have ordered a donor ARF for the dail,and depending on how the sels of the bracelet will fit on the noob case will add the bracelet as well.

Also have ordered a CF bezel.

And now the waiting for the specialist red1 to have time to service the movement and do all the mods.

Can’t wait to see the end result.

Also an other question: in my opinion the dail markers on the noob panda are less gen like.
If never had a arf in my hands but on all pictures I have found the hour markers from arf seems to be nice polished and rounded edges like the gen has.

But some one advice me to do these mods:

Noob case, Noob movement, arf dial, Noob dial markers, Noob hands, arf bracelet

All advice appreciate it must be as close to gen as it can get with a arf donor watch and CF bezel.

Hi all,

asking for opinions, currently owns an NOOB V3 Daytona with full overhaul of the movement (to reduce the rotor noise) and replaced with ARF dial. I've attached a photo of it below, please share your comments and advice on how to make it even closer to GEN or if you guys spotted any flaws on it. Thanks!
Should i,
- replace the bezel to CF bezel?
- replace the bracelet to ARF bracelet?

- The Noob V1 and V2 116500 Daytonas both had sub-dials that were too thick.
- In January 1999 Noob updated both the Black and White 116500 dials with thinner sub-dials which we called the "V2.2".
- The White Panda dial has always been more popular, and Noob's old stock of thicker sub-dial V1-V2 White dials sold out and disappeared quickly.

- The problem is that apparently Noob still has some old Black thicker sub-dial V1-V2 dials that are sometimes still being used in newer "V2.2" and V3 watches.


That's why I say that you have to check your V3 QC pictures carefully to make sure that you don't get an old V1-V2 Black dial.

A couple of questions regarding movement rotor noise.

How loud compared to gen is the noob 4130?

And how loud is the noob 4130 compared to other "rep movements" lets say a Miyota or a 2824?

where did you get the ARF dail ?
And may I ask what you have paid just for the mail?
to me its looking great already from the picture you showed us.

Thanks mate, but I already have the v2.2. and wanted the V3 to point out the differences. I would like to know if the good SEL of the V3 are related to a better bracelet :)
