I've experienced this when a new version first arrives as they attempt to clear out the dead stock, but I'm very surprised to see such an anachronistic dial in a version that's been around 7+ months.
Got QC pics today. Looks like I got the thin subdials
Jesus Christ. If those are slim, I'm glad I don't have a black dial.
The clasp did improve though.
yeah mate, they are slim and very very close to Gen. Were you expecting even thinner subdials?
btw, is the 6 marker crooked?

I was yes. Ive seen thinner ones at my watchsmith. Maybe those were arf I don't know.
On gen the numbers are almost touching the border.
i guess it depends on the angle, third pic looks better than first.
As shown in this picture, the V3 Noob shown above has the thinner Sub-dials that are about the same thickness as a Gen 116500.
- If you get the right one, Noob finally has the Sub-dial thickness correct on both the Black and White 116500 dials, But the Silver Sub-dials on the Black dial are still much Shinier than a Gen.
- The Quality of the Black ARF Dial is still better than the Noob overall, but the thickness of the ARF Sub-dials are slightly thicker than a Gen on the Black dials.
.
I wished I had read this thread. I accidentally accepted a fat black subdial from @supermirror (Sead) with his UK stock, I'm so guttered now!

Thanks.. That's what I will do. I might be doing an albino project so this watch could be the donor for the case, movement and bracelet.Don’t feel bad, happens!! That watch is worth the money just for the movement alone. You can buy another one and list the parts for sale individually. Depending on timing, you will probably recoup majority of the cost.
Or put an ARF dial. In the end you will get a visually better looking Daytona.
Or look for aftermarket ones on eBay.
