Looks great. I'm going to order a couple and get some gen Crystals for them. Thanks for the great pics.
If you are just worried about the movement reliability, you could just use it til it breaks, then switch it to an ICHS movement/hands. $60 for DG3804, $125 for 2836 ICHS. That makes a lot more sense to me than spending $1500 on a Yuki mod 3186 or $3K on a gen 3186 for an otherwise stock rep. But we all have our preferences and pocket sizes to meet them, sometimes. I've spent way too much in directions I wouldn't go again.

Hey smoke. I agree, this is the best one yet. Hers some quick and dirty pics first night I received it with Jubilee. The rehaut alignment was off but I rotated the dial slightly now and it’s pretty centered.
How do peeps feel about the crystal height and the rehaut engravement on the Noob?
People always mention the crystal height on the GMF BLNR. It seems about the same on mine.
Yeah it's actually a very noticeable difference, from a good distance too. That GMF crystal sits like a skyscraper, to quote down_underGMF compared to gen
The thicker crystal is only one reason it sits higher on a GMF. They use a taller gasket also. Here's a comparison to my Noob V8 Batman.
Here you go

Very fair point indeed! If anyone even had the slightest inclination to check, they would see the insert/datewheel first. That's the most noticeable. Then the dial, then smaller details.
Thanks Jiro. And I’m sorry...I think? Lol
Here’s another
True, I've been wondering whether the new noob has stronger springs. Worth looking into. This should be dissected by a professional and commented upon.Hi mate
Top watch and I can’t wait for mine - it’s taking even longer because of this week’s Chinese holidays. Placed the order on Trusty on Monday (after reading this thread) and no QC pics yet.
Damn bro I’m nervous about the movement. Have you jumped your hour hand both ways or only clock wise?
I read somewhere that the spring in these later GMT’s has been upgraded to a thicker spring. Does any one know or care to comment?

Ive had a CHS gmt for over a year and if your just follow the recommended procedure to set the time I have NEVER had any issues

But forum members are a few thousand out of billions of people. That's about .000001% lol!
Your watch is gorgeous mate!

There are a lot of reports of people having CHS fails in spite of adhering to the instructions on the various GMTII threads and the dedicated CHS fail thread where KJ2020 and others are discussing the minute details on why the CHS movements fai-well above my head but interesting nonetheless.
For the $$ I would not go with a CHS with this watch, $600 plus is a lot to spend on a paper weight. I made the ICHS choice when I ordered my GMF GMTII BLNR
KJ2020 actually has a thread up where he mentions the recently released BP GMTIIs which have a low beat CHS movement and which retails for $278. Now for that price point I would come on board.
well I guess Im one of the lucky ones then?
I just ordered one of these so I hope My Luck continues! Cross my fingers!
