Aren't all noob bezels somewhat misaligned at the 120 tick? You'll never get your watch if you keep rejecting... being a TD sure is tough.

i'm ok with 120 misaligned. but the chrono hand was misaligned with the 12 o'clock. then the 60 misaligned by a fair bit. but hey it's my money and i can accept or reject as i please right.

some people on here seem to think all qc issues are the same. or all misalignments are equal. surely you can understand there are varying degrees of inaccuracies. we're all here to share our experiences to help each other. instead there are people who just want to berate others just cause they have a different opinion. how does it affect you if i had 3 bad watches that i didn't agree with? is it your money? do you have to live with the watch? how do you know that i don't have a good relationship with the td that i've been using for the past 2 years? it just seems like you want to look good by jumping on the band wagon of chirping for applause.

Yea misunderstanding on my part and jumping to conclusions. Definitely. Perhaps your TD is getting reject batches then.

If "the dealer" would shove 3 watches with issues in my face, I'd change the dealer.

noone shoved anything in my face. i just didn't accept the ones she showed me. i used elena from puretime and she's been amazing with the last 4 watches i purchased. which dealer do you use that don't "shove watches in your face"? by all means share so we can benefit as well.

Ryan @ Intime. Once you establish steady purchase history, you won't need the QC pictures anymore. But I heard it goes for all the good TD's - you're not buying watches, you're buying the dealer.

I’d say the 120 marker can line up pretty nicely, so it’s not a problem affecting all noobs

Totally agree, Ryan even after accepting qc photos, has changed the watch because he has noticed some flaws afterwards that weren't visible in the initial photos. That's what I call customer service.

Congrats, the 120 marker is well aligned on this particular watch which means that the known issues of the misalignment of the Noob factory’s 120 marker on the bezel is now just a QC problem then?

Some of the mis alignment issues are also picture angles. A very slight angle will cause things to look mis aligned, my 3 marker looked crooked in my qc photos Mary assured me not the case took some pics straight on and perfect flat then from all positions the marker was straight but on some the 9 marker looked crooked also so just goes to show pic angle can cause all sorts of issues.

Most misalignments (I'm noticing) are more so from the dial being too far to the left or right, or slightly turned just a hair. Will REALLY make the 120 appear off.

ARF's are worse in that aspect. Got 2 so far that need attention. Bezels are aligned perfectly. Just the dial sits too far to the left on one. Then on another the dial sits too far to the bottom.

It does seem so, although all the recent ones I've seen don't have any significant alignment issues

Bingo.

I have a gen 116500LN in white. To this day it still drives me crazy sometimes when I think the Chrono hand is misaligned or the bezel is off but it’s all the angle.

That being said, the watches posted above are HELLA good. You can’t go wrong with either Noob or ARF. At their current level of production, the only people who would notice it’s a rep are A. RWI folks with a loupe, B. An AD (maybe), or C. someone from Rolex. The Daytona is so detail-dense, that at 40mm you would be hard pressed to notice any difference on your wrist, let alone by a bystandard on the street.

That being said, I’m hoping to grab one of these soon as I don’t like to travel with my some of my gens.
