Some of the mis alignment issues are also picture angles. A very slight angle will cause things to look mis aligned, my 3 marker looked crooked in my qc photos Mary assured me not the case took some pics straight on and perfect flat then from all positions the marker was straight but on some the 9 marker looked crooked also so just goes to show pic angle can cause all sorts of issues.

nothing beats gen, congratulations. I am trying to buy one for retail price since 2 years but I am not lucky. So I have choosen the franken way, noob Daytona with gen dial and some other mods. For 6 k I get 2 116520 and 2 116500. I am not paying 20 k for a 116500. As you said, nobody will see when it is on your wrist.
Enjoy your watch...

I am very happy with the Noob Daytona but for me is the question: How good is the Movement? I have read many times that the movement is 90% like Gen. But do we know which Parts are not "Gen-Like" of the Movement? And can we change the Parts to got a 100% Gen-Movement or is this worthless?
The only difference is the free sprung balance Changing that would be a pointless excersice The only reason Rolex fit them is snobbery and the fact that they are very difficult to adjust
Did you receive the watch then now? How does the 9 marker alignment look in person? no mis alignment on the 9 marker?

I’d say the 120 marker can line up pretty nicely, so it’s not a problem affecting all noobs
The bezel insert compared to the ARF is crap frankly, and sadly the dial isn't much better, although the ARF dial isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination.
The movement is a piece of rep history in the making though and it's a great base for a franken.
