Guys kind of off topic question if any one can help what is the process of uncasing the 4130 chronograph movement is there any tricks with the pushers do they have to be removed or will the movement slide past them when uncasing? Any help would be appreciated I have worked on my Yuki based 3135 submariners change dials and hands serviced the 3135’s but never fooled with the chrono movements before!

I've been wearing my Noob for a while now and one of the biggest problems with it is actually the Rolex design. If I was to choose between the panda or the blackface I would definitely go for the panda. I now have both and with the blackface it's extremely hard to tell the time because there is too much polished steel going on with dials and the Hour hands is super super annoying. And I have to say if I was to buy the genuine version of this I would be pretty annoyed.

Apart from that the movement is super rocksolid beautiful to look at. And... In what must be another first for a replica watch it is super accurate. I have never ever had a rep this accurate before.

AP replicas seem to have a mind of their own they speed up and slow down then speed up again is really bizarre.

Unless this new 4130 movement does a CHS on us. If I were Rolex I would be extremely scared.

as a gen daytona owner ( RG btw, and the weight is night and day between rep and gen) and gen daytona two-tone owner, the difference is signficant. 1. I feel better about it being a quality piece 2. as a gen owner, I had twice reps in my hand where other blokes didn't admit it but based on the feel and weight.....I knew.

So yes it matters as it is an easier tell (if held) than many others......like a real boob and fake boob....might look the same, but the moment you feel it

Like RS6Man said; your post makes 0 sense. Rosegold vs Steel; obvious weight difference. 904 vs 316 however, no way you will feel the difference. In fact even in real Rolexes 904 is just a gimmick.

This is exact same problem for me how anyone could tell flaws from 5 feet is beyond me when I have hard time telling the fucking time!!

I've been just emailed by puretime, daytona noob v2's stock is soldout the new batch should be ready in a week or two. I hope that with the new batch other things will be fixed to be more gen like..can't wait to have it on my wirst

Agree with original comment comparing gold to steel is silly. Think OP must be confused.

904 is less corrosive than 316 which is about the only difference. Its a marginally better blend on that basis alone. Using 904 in these rep watches doesn't cost the extra $100 they are charging for the material in weight its probably not even a dollar more expensive in such a small weight. Rolex probably charge you the same to make the watch out of 904 as what they would if they made their watches out of 316. Its the rep makers acting like its a huge deal and so much more expensive no one else. The way they have introduced 904 into the rep world like its some mythical metal only rolex can get is hilarious. Its available for anyone to buy and use.

Funny you should say that. I watched a watch blogger on youtube explaining why he couldn't get on with his gen black face 116500 and sold it for this very reason. Is it really that bad ? Ive never had a problem with my 116520 black you'd think it would be the similar.

I think also some to do with the polished stainless bezel also reflecting back at you. Don’t get me wrong beautiful Watch, but I ordered the white dial ceramic from Mary 3 days ago she had one in stock for me she emailed me after she had it in hand so it is on its way to me as I type let’s hope all goes well in shipping!

Aren't all noob bezels somewhat misaligned at the 120 tick? You'll never get your watch if you keep rejecting... being a TD sure is tough.

It occurred to me that is not the bezel issue, seems like the Noob dials are "misaligned". Once the GEN dial is installed the problem disappears. guru

Right, I stand corrected regarding the dial. Although my point still stands, the issue common to all noobs. Not a reason to reject.
