New Sub up on Toros - Noob V2?

My second V2 arrived today (bought it through M2M sales). Popped it onto my Rubber B as i'm too lazy to keep swapping strap.

Waited impatiently for my new noob to arrive (like always), and get home today and unwrap my watch like a kid on Christmas only to find it DOA. FML.

No sound at all from the inside, time and date setting works fine, but no movement.

I never had to send anything back. Any suggestions on the customs form? Is this too risky or should I try and get it repaired locally?

The QC pics showed the second hand changing, so it seems like the movement died during shipping. Screws loose and maybe something busted.

Just tried that, nothing.

You could open the caseback it should be really easy and see if there's something loose in the movement that stoping it.

All that said z I'd find a local watch smith to give it a go over and just see if it's something simple which is probably the case,,, the turn around to send a watch back to China is ridiculous and the shipping will cost you more than having a local guy get it running as long as its simple,,,, don't damage it by screwing around with the movement if you open it up and don't readily see the problem,,, these things are very delicate.

Nah, dealer has already said he'd cover shipping. I'd rather send it back than futz with getting it repaired.

Finally received my V2. lovely watch and the SEL doesn t look bad at all in reality. The only thing that bothers me is the date. Even though is from the first batch the date is slightly left. Is there an easy fix for this?? thanks

no easy fix,i think you would have to rip it apart and change the dwo to one with all numbers central
