Remember that panda is pretty much 116520 with ceramic and black subdial.Snap! Really is a shame because there are so many interesting avenues they could take the Daytona but as with every recent release they've fell on the tried and tested "make the case slightly larger and small changes nobody asked for" route.
Admittedly I do like some of the changes on the panda but its just the same watch really.... Ironically an hour ago I shown my boss the new Panda (as he was wearing his gen today) and he couldn't spot any of the differences until I pointed them out. I guess that's how Rolex have established themselves as one of the biggest brands outs there though, evolution vs revolution as they say
One thing that have bugged me forever is the asymmetrical lugs on SS daytona. Now they are symmetrical, which to me is a major aesthetic update. Dont care much about beefier crown guard, but it goes along with wider lugs.
The metal bezel edge is going to scratch up so quick, negative point.
