I’ve gotta say this the bubble and puzzle dial is a breeze of fresh air
Well done Rolex!
It’s trying to be playful which you might not associate with Rolex and I think they should have a high five for that.

The solid gold and also Daytona obviously also really nice. Tho they should also start with open case backs on the other Daytonas as well.

Anyone know of a factory making the bubble and puzzle dial yet ?

Rolex doesn't usually give nicknames to their collection, but they did with these dials. The bubbles is officially called the "Celebration" dial. The puzzles is officially called the "Jigsaw puzzle" dial.
One or two companies jumped the gun on the Celebration dial, by using the rendered image from Rolex.com, but the colors seem very off.
As for the Day-Date Jigsaw puzzle, I did see one rep, but it didn't have the day emotions or the date emojis.

It’s a shame Rolex has come to this.

You're right.

I too liked them better when they printed Mickey Mouse in full glory or the Domino's Pizza logo on their dials. 😂

It's not like they discontinued all other models. C'mon.. Relax, it's not how all Rolex watches will look like. 😉

That's the Rolex I grew up loving. Back when you could order any bracelet to go along with your watch. Back when you could purchase different colored bezel inserts on your GMT, and have the AD remove the cyclops if you pleased.

The only regret I have about Rolex is that I wasn't that much into watches when you could actually buy one. 😂

Now I have the money and the interest, but I'm sure as hell not going to buy 50 grand worth of unpopular watches or overpriced jewelry for the wife, just so that they will maybe sell me a Pepsi one day... Or maybe not. No, thank you. 🙄😆

Mickey Mouse is iconic. Whereas emojis are not.

Well, they are literally iconic by definition. 😂 But I understand what you mean.

You know what else will be iconic in 30+ years? A Rolex with emojis. When the Mickey Mouse Rolex came out, there were people who said 'it's a shame what Rolex has come to' as well.

When the Eiffel Tower was about to be build at the end of the 19th century, almost all famous artists, writers and other cultural significant figures of Paris publicly petitioned to prevent this "abomination to ruin the beauty of the city". Look at it now. It's the raw definition of 'iconic'.

I'm with you 110%. No way am I going to spend money on things I don't want, just for a chance to spend money on the watch I actually want.

Funny enough, I'm in the same boat as you. When the ceramic Submariners were first coming out, I had a ridiculous amount of money that was burning a holr in my pocket. I was into building race cars at the time, and not so much into watches. Over 10 years later, I don't race anymore, and am in the market for a genuine Rolex.

Back then, I could have picked up a 14060 for pennies as people were dumping the 5 digits for the newly released 6 digits. Boy am I still kicking myself over that, cause it's a hard pill to swallow spending nearly $10K on a 14060 that retailed for half that 🤣

Same as the Louvre Pyramid. When I live in Paris in 2005, every Parisian tells me it is a scar on Paris.

Speaking about the comparison between 116500 and 126500, I read this article. Those side-by-side photos do make a good visual effect that 126500 is bigger than 116500 by quite a bit, more than the number we read on the spec sheet.
