New Panda is amazing. Combining zenith and modern era with the updated dial
I guess there will be a lot of discussions on this one, but I'm actually of the opposite opinion. They have beefed up the case and the crown guards, which makes it look more muscular and takes away the fitness of the lines

Open case back is a good thing though, long overdue

I am sure many looking at this thread don't even realize that yes- this is a real Rolex...

But, but they're very colorful!

Remember when noob v3 had thin subdials in their Daytonas and everyone went nuts trying to replace the dial… looks like Rolex saw that v3 and repped the noob for their 2023 release

I like the changes to the Daytona line, I hated the all ceramic bezel, THAT looked cheap to me. The dial is.. strange.. have to see in real life.
YM on a bracelet and SD on an OF are messing with my head tho. Dont know what to think. One minute I like them, next minute Im loading a gun to shoot myself. But leaning towards positive so far.

Also like the updated movements, 2232's crown-like balance regulator in particular.

GMT is also screaming vintage, especially the TT one.

And the fully lumed EXP? Whats not to like?

All in all, one of the better releases from RLX.

According to one report the John Mayer Daytona's (Gold Green and Platinum Blue), Daytona Meteorite dials, the Cellini and the Milgauss are being discontinued. Does that mean the reps will disappear as well?
No. The Hulk was discontinued and factories still sell it. John Mayer Daytona is very popular for the factories. CF, BTF and others will keep selling it.

Same for the others. As long as the watches are popular, factories will keep selling.

As for the new daytonas , i see the inspiration of zenith and 6263/6265 versions that got combined in modern era , give it some time you’ll get used to them

These are the ones that got discontinued
Prices for the YG/green Daytona are going to skyrocket even more now.

The more I look at the metal ring around the ceramic bezel on those new Daytonas, the less I like it.

@KJ2020 @jcher what do you think of case shape , lugs and bezel surround with steel like vintage daytonas ?

Agreed with the open case back. Is that only on the platinum reference though?

I like it bro. I never liked it that there were different case shapes between models (especially YG vs other PM, why?!). Also there is lug symmetry left to right which I never liked without it before either. The ceramic bezel surround is a nice add too IMO.

I don't like the hour markers and the subdial rings are a tad too skinny for my taste. But like you said give it some time. The older style Daytona hour markers are just so iconic though.

Skinny subdial rings aren't an issue on some dials. I have to admit this one looks pretty good. Note the sunburst on a black dial, that's rare. Skydweller black dial has it.

I think if I had this rep I'd be swapping out the hour markers, haha!
