The green hue looks too electric in this recent example... Almost like the early BP or MKF 5711 back when there was nothing else available than undecorated 9015 movements...

Now look where we are now - comparing at least 4 different modding options and more to come haha

I also think the SW looks good - even though I'd like a bit more of the green hue combined with the subtle gray undertone.

Excited times we live in - cannot wait for a proper movement refinish.

I feel the same. In the meanwhile, I go for that other stunner with power reserve indicator: ZF IWC Portuguese 7days.
It's also more believable (and less dangerous) to just own an average IWC

Looks pretty but WAY too blue. Subdials are far too burst-y as well. SWF v2 is still best and closest to gen dial on the market as of now, in my opinion

Stupid question is the pinions another mod that has to go to china to get or is the factory/modder actually selling these to be able to procure outside china? Currently have my 5712 out for modding in Singapore but I could see myself wanting the pinion mods in some time once I have it back in my hands.

Letters look really thick, tall and way too little space between them. This is going to look more fake than the printed one in my opinion. It’s kinda extrem if you compare it to pictures of the real movement

I agree, the effect is not very realistic. In the gen the engraving is not so deep
