Finally someone who’s sensible enough. Other then these plates which I feel could be improved on , the rest of the mods are really really good.

Good thing about these plates is that it could be swopped out easily. Making it an easy upgrade.

The sw dial v2 , the pinnon mods and the moonphase gets it close to gen without using gen parts. ( my 12 o’clock marker is not straight on, I have since adjusted it)

How much better we can get then this?

For SW v2 dial, current disc, hands, pinion mods - all great yes, can't expect more than that to be fair. Hope they also deliver better plates.

Both are fine. I prefer vvs for the black background and silver moon

It looks like they already released this batch, not a prototype.

Dealers started selling those. I believe they will sell them first before they improve a bit more for next batch.

The modder told me that the plate is a somewhat straightforward replacement. One can always upgrade later when the next best version drops, even for early adopters.

It looks like they are using low resolution laser engraving. They really need to improve that shit. ZF 5167 got much better engravings on their 324 movement.

Theres no indication of them putting out a better dial. SWF is very good. Although, I might be crazy but they might have done a small update to the color but no where near SWF still.

This is the current stock PPF, very much more blue however still a bit more purple than what one would expect if going gen-like

Here's current SWF v2 for comparison, more blue with some gray on the edges is very gen like. Plus the beveled hour indicators vs stock, and the larger dots at 5 & 7

There was someone who posted basically all current moonphases out right now. They are all really close, some have more grain in them, some less. Personally i like the DP the best

@alvinado probably has a better pulse on the Buff dials, but with how good the SWF dials are I don't see a reason at this time to wait for Buff. Especially considering how many iterations Buff has gone through for just the 5711, SWF seems to be the current and best dial.

Ohh yea sorry i missread lol. I don’t think it matters. Generally you shouldn’t quick adjust dates 4 hours before and after midnight.
