Exactly this. It isn’t unseen in this rep business that factories go out of business or a next versions is never released. Although it’s not that plausible in this scenario. But then again, if they don’t make money on this V2, they won’t be willing to release a V3. Nothing is certain.

In my personal opinion the V2 is good enough if nothing else is done other than the moon phase mod.

The v2 is overall very good out the box, but the dial is just horrible. That purple color is just not good, other then that, the dial looks amazing, they just need to do a color correction

Hehe that’s the eternal V1 vs V2 color discussion. Each one to his own. I don’t think they will release a version later with the color from V1. Probably they changed supplier and that’s history now. But time will tell.

Probably not. Either way, the v1 color was not correct either, was still to green. I’ve never seen a 5711/5712 gen Dial with purple color tones, and I think that’s why the v1 appears more correct. (Besides the v1 subdial placement was also incorrect, so not really useful either way)

Absolutely correct remarks. IMHO between color v1 and color v2, while both being wrong, v1 is closer to gen. We'll see what happens, hopefully soon...

Okay people. I just got QC on the SW dial from Trustytime today. I have approved them. According to forum rules I can therefore show them.



I think it is a great blue color and the markers are nicely rounded.

Compared to the stock, which have very rounded markers and the dial is more greyish dark:

Looks pretty good, it’s going to be interesting to see it in different lighting.

Either way, it can’t get any worse then the stock ppf v2, that thing is just horrendous

Some say buff uses the SW dial as a base for his mods. But I haven’t got a buff dial, and can therefore not say with certainty.
