Anyone had an issue with the minute hand jumping on the 5712 v.2? I just got one and it seems to lag behind and then jump a couple minutes periodically. I know some have had this issue on the 5167.

I heard that the buff hands tend to solve this problem, but I’m surprised that there’s the same issue with SW?

Mine so far only goes forward. Seems like it is catching based on the mainspring maybe not having enough tension.

Dear friends, IMHO it’s needless to change hands, moon phases disks, bracelets, pionion covers if the dial color is off, completely. I saw them personally, live, next to each other, a 5712 (2022) and this rep, although very well done. The difference is too obvious in real life. A person who has seen even a few times an original, even if not an expert, if he sees this rep separately he easiy undestand that it is different, very DIFFERENT. It is useless to make small changes to less important aspects. I still haven't seen in the market of the various modder (there are 100 different BUFFs, I feel that something is wrong) a dial with a "similar" color to gen. I'm waiting for the V3, hoping that someone in China will listen...

The color is closer to gen, but there were so many flaws, position of the indicators of the small seconds, wrong shape of the moon phases disk, other details in the power reserve scale. Best only for the color, of course IMHO

Correct, stock V2 is just a toy watch to me. But difference is obvious for ppf v2 dial / disc only.

If you put a good dial (swf v2 for today), disc, hands in and work on case & bracelet, it should be harder to see the difference.

I compared my fully modded spongebob v1 to my friends 2008 gen, they were extremely close. (Not talking about movement side). My friend is not much of a watch guy, he thought mine was also gen and surprised when i say it's not. He insisted to get that one from me to wear it while traveling.

I truly regret giving that one, so we started a new v2 build with legend now.

Btw for v1 even its modded, there are big tells like dial cut and movement. But not every gen owner knows too much about their watches. Can't complain about little differences, its a rep after all.

Are you doing any mods to the case and crown for your v2? My understanding is that an SW dial hands and moon disk, flexible first link and the pinion mod is the baseline for a v2?

Yes, will be fully modded. Crown if necessary - some v2's have perfect crown but some needs modding

Pinion is not important, that mod is exaggerated, gen has different variants

Guys, users here keep telling me Power Reserve in v2 does not work as advertised! Isnt it supposed to work from 48hr or above, downwards to the red dots?! Someone told me his only works to 36!

My TD from RWi also said PR is not real on the watch.

What is the truth?

Thanks guys, but I was not talking about the PR itself, but more of the PR Dial. The TD said it is not real. However V2 has a real PR Dial and it should osscilate from 48 hrs to .... Red dots.
