Regarding the hands don't believe anything was done to them.looks like your hands are V1 as well

You mean the overlay?Apparently it's just peeling it off and attaching it on.
That's right buddy. The V1 moon phase was peeled off the gear and stuck onto the v2 gear. Like kids stickers really. You mean the overlay?
Please sell me your watch lolThat's right buddy. The V1 moon phase was peeled off the gear and stuck onto the v2 gear. Like kids stickers really.
What do you mean?just had a news that 5712 is finally off from the insane bundle sale by ZF/PPF...
Please tell me that means they're getting rid of the ugly v.2 dial.just had a news that 5712 is finally off from the insane bundle sale by ZF/PPF...
Haha, maybe in v5.Please tell me that means they're getting rid of the ugly v.2 dial.
yeah, not happening any time soon. im eyeing a custom one, custom moondisc, plus bespoke bridges (engraved of course) with correct bevels and finishing. Not quite gen-spec ofc, but much closer than now. other than than the pinion pip on the hands, its nearly there. Please tell me that means they're getting rid of the ugly v.2 dial.
My watch arrived with different issues, one of which was that the moonphase disc was not moving. The problem was that the small spring was not sitting against the teeth of the small wheel at the right, it was off (picture attached once the spring back at its place)Anyone else having moonphase issues? My pusher Stopped working and the wheel moves intermittently. Watch stopped running and was a tonne of resistance when I set it again, pushed through it and now it’s running fine but the moonphase. Will update on power reserve.
The dial color looks to be between v1 and v2 to me.
As far as i see v1 is closer, i haven't seen v2 with my own eyes yet...The dial color looks to be between v1 and v2 to me.
Some really good info here, thanks for sharing! I myself can only click my moonphase once per day, but it also rotates fine with time so this is good info for me to take when I eventually get mine servicedMy watch arrived with different issues, one of which was that the moonphase disc was not moving. The other things I noticed with this watch:
- loose minute hand; small impacts when the hand was at specific places would have made it to move
- a small, nearly invisible dent on the dial - it seems like a paint or dial surface finish imperfection
- the power reserve hand is not going to the final red dot when the watch is out of power and when the watch is being wound the hand reaches its max position before the watch is completely wound; it then jumps back and forth while winding the watch
- the dial is not fixed with screws to the movement
- the caseback does not screw / unscrew smoothly; the caseback or case thread seems to have issues - cannot say if this impacts case/caseback sealing
- the case brushing on the crown side is not even
I had to reset / resit as well the date set mechanism. When the watch came the date set button needed, some times, to be pushed twice to move the date disc by one day.
Small things to correct here and there ...
I measured its power reserve to be around 52 hours. It keeps good time (+4s/day dial up). Its rotor is a bit noisy. The movement is clean, but dry.
Hope this is useful.
