Congrats on this amazing modded piece. I envy you. I’ve not been so lucky with my modding story :(

I sent my watch to @Harleysta91

You can read about my nightmare here:

What a nightmare. Truly hope he does the decent thing and just refunds you. Two years is ridiculous - mine took exactly 2 months from start to finish.

Finished the install on the newest version engraved bridge plates. These are AMAZING. Can't stop looking at the movement now

Yes they have come a long way since the ultra thick engravings of last year 😂

Yeah I waited, I knew they were going to get better. Ive seen these in gen, and man they are so close its not even funny. Only way I could tell was while I was installing them, under the microscope you can see the chinese manufacturing "rough"-ness on the bevels. But not even noticeable while working on them with a loupe and such, amazing work by whatever factory produced these.

Honestly even gen owners of the 5712 barely know anything about their 5712. A collector I met was showing me his, I showed him my PPF 5712, he couldn't even point out the moonphase color, he just thought I owned a older version. He did notice the engravings were not right but had to really stare for a few minutes lol

My favorite fun fact about the Patek A240 is that the screws you see on the plate beneath the microrotor are black polished/finished (zaratsu polishing)

SW v2 left, HB right:

Both look pretty much identical in-hand.

The only tiny (and I mean TINY) difference when they are at arm's length is that SW's stripes are more gen-like in their spacing (by a hair), but HB's stripes have a very slightly better 3D effect.

When zoomed in a huge amount, some of HB's date font text is very slightly better - but you simply can not see the difference when they are at arm's length/ more than 12-inches away. Remember both dials are quite small at like 2.5-3cm across and font text is literally like 2mm.

The colour seems identical on both and is superb. Any difference in tone here is simply because one is installed and is behind crystal.

Both dials are so good, I would truly be indifferent if I had to choose between the two. Not much point in upgrading to the HB for me, hence I will list it for sale on RWI.

Anyone know anything more about this release? Thoughts?

Just saw this too. Well, we'll have to see what the price is, but it may take the contender for the best OOTB 5712 over PPF. It has a nice blue color, engraved backplate (not to the standard of custom ones but still for OOTB it's fine compared to PPF), and a nicer moonphase.

But OME.... completely unknown factory.... feels like to me just a "factory" that is taking base PPF and swapping out parts with best in class parts... just speculation

Yeah, it will be exciting to see where they position themselves in terms of price and whether they actually deliver according to their promo images 😅 Looks promising so far!

Yeah just looks like a small modder factory. The power reserve pinion looks awful though. Rest of the watch looks like SW parts imo

This dial actually looks really nice. I have a recent SW dial and it’s really flat and lacking the sunburst effect compared to my old SW dial. This one looks much more dynamic.

That can be an accurate price. Non TD is cheaper by 30% and they can do bulk discounts on SW/custom parts.
Actually this specific dealer has high mark up TD pricing
If that's the price with him expect it 200$ cheaper from most NonTD

However with Andiot there is no reason for one to go with Non Td, he has the cheapest prices with the TD piece of mind
