Heres what I'm being an anal and drew lines on my dead on face shot and looks like everything lines up perfectly. No crooked 5 or anything i guess the other is just the angle of the pic

I'm really considering getting one. I went to an AD to check its size to be sure it would suit me, and though I was set on the blue hands version, seeing the one with the golden numerals in the flesh makes me doubt.
The dials of the gens are a bit different between these two version, the one with the golden numerals look a bit creamy when the one with the blue hands is more white.
How is the colour on the rep for these versions? Is the one with the blue hands cream colored as the other one or is it really white/grey as it should be?
Thanks!

Heres my date alignment pics from my QC. Pretty damn happy with it though 30th being ever too slight right justify but I okayed it. Its on my way now.

Date alignment is looking good when its 1.

I don't know if you realize this, but the 11th hour mark is a little weird, seems like the "1" on the right is thicker and not as straight compared to the left "1". Other than that, its looking good!
I don't know why, but I am always bothered by the 11th hour mark. :s

PT has new YLF v2s listed today. The white dial ones look more correct when you compare the brilliant white of the date wheels.

Now that appears to be fixed as has the case, is zf still the best choice?

I didn't notice this black rubber piece sticking out on the bottom right until I was switching out the strap. Is this the rubber seal? Anyone know how hard it is to open the case? TIA.

***Fixed it but the rubber ring stretched out so I had to cut it to make it fit.

there are 2 versions of the white/gold. one from ZF and the other from YL. The ZF version has a creamy dial much like the gen, while the YL has a white dial.

... OhOh, that date is crooked ... I would have rejected it. And one big flaw on top you should have noticed, it´s missing the hour-hand!

As user rhc22 already stated in his direct compare of gen and ZF-rep dial there is no noticable difference between them. So it's a bit useless to start the same discussion upon "which dial and version is better" every day. Sorry.

Or we could ask as it's a newly released on that day v2 which people may want to know what is better and improved over the v1

It's not easy to improve a perfect rep dial... But ok, as you like.

As I said in my post it.s a YLF v2 that was listed on PT yesterday. The YLF v1 had an imperfect white dial so I would say there was plenty of room for improvement plus the comparison between gen, zf and ylf uses the ylf v1 as because, you know, the v2 kinda wasn't even out at that time....
