My bad Sharrkey.

If I may ask one thing, it looks like the left number "1" on the 11th hour mark is shorter and thicker compared to the right number "1". In fact, the 11th hour mark is not aligned to the 1st hour mark. I know some of you have had issues with this before, do you request new watches until you get the right one or is this "normal" for this watch?

This is my 2nd QC pics and I already noticed the improvement on the date alignment, but the 11th hour mark is still bothering me.

Can any one of you chime in?

** I don't know why the pic is a thumbnail instead of the fullsize

I start turning the date wheel from 1 to 31 and again, and seems some dates are fine, some aren't. So, not alignment but print problem? And i started thinking, why complain too much about date wheel, APs are worse isnt it? and AP cost from USD5xx and upwards. This IWC cost USD3xx. I think i am quite happy.

If anyone still cant accept it (or worse, wont accept a QC), please open up a donation account for fund support to print a perfect datewheel, i believe some people surely will chip in. (count me in)

I have gen blue Tag Heuer Monaco with a misaligned date wheel. And on that the date opening is so narrow it can be seen from a mile away.

Still my favorite watch.

I really don't understand the hate that has been going on.

In fact, I've already accepted the QC. I hope that calms you down man. :)

I agree. Sometimes it feel like we (new guys) are meant to me a punching bag for the older - wiser members.

It`s looking good Tomcat :)

"1" is perfectly in the centre of the date window. The white date wheel is probably the best at the moment. They should update the grey date wheel and print the numbers little lower.

Your IWC looks really nice, tom_cat. You are lucky! :)
I had to accept one with a crooked 4, but hey, it's a rep. ;)

I have not seen a "perfect" piece yet, - no matter what color! ;)

I agree, there is no perfection. I think the "5" is mostly crooked a little, little bit.
But noone can really see, and it's a great rep anyway.

Do you think it is possible to adjust the numbers afterwards or are they solidly attached to the dial?

I have just asked my watch-smith. He says; no problem!
So if I can't live with my little crooked 4, I will make a list of things that I can't live with, and send it of to finetuning. ;)

Numbers and Markers are glued to the Dial, with little Pins, that go through the Dial, - but crooked Numbers can be fixed! ;)

Well great news!
Sometimes I think they should sell it as kits so that we can assemble them ourselves with love ;)
