The movement seems simple but it is not yet cloned it would need a new and big investment
If you want a clone movement you will pay it for sure !!

There will be no way to clone this movement as per gen- the gen is like 4mm thick!! And the gen movement is incredibly well finished. It's actually designed partly by another company on a collaboration. Very very nice movement.

Very true, lots of money to clone, is there even an Asian caliber to use as a base? The the backside problem is the small number of gens to rep, off the top of my head the 337, 338, 512, 513 and 439. The last two are gold which has limited rep appeal for many. This is a lot different than just designing some bridges to slap on a existing movement. If they make a movement that is even reasonably close I will bet it will be a $400+ watch. I will say that if the watch (outside the movement) is "super rep" quality (and the movement proves stable) I for one will be on board up to $450. I suppose the biggest issue will be repair...

I love radiomirs, but I hate it's wire lugs. This 42mm case would be perfect. Saw one at an AD and I have to say it will fit skinny wrists nicely. :)

Anyone have any insight when this is coming out? This was announced in Angus's newsletter quite awhile back now.

Actually, it may just be able to use this machine, the flywheel is already in the correct position, just need to get some decorations on top to make it looks alike. Prolly won't be a super rep, but close enough is good enough, like the v3 P3000.

If they make this I will also buy it. It would be the ideal modern dress watch on a budget.

I was really looking forward to the release but had the opportunity to try on the gen today. It's just too small for me. I think I'll stick with the u6154 and mini fiddy w/o cg...

The maker has tried his very best to make the movement as close to the genuine as possible. So please don't keep saying this is no the same as genuine. It is the best we can get do at the moment. All the wheels on the movement are workable!

PT should get on Monday :)
