Nice wacth indeed, any new good rep is always wellcome.
However, with its 42mm looks like a pam made for ladies, it may look awasome on her.
Also, I do not see it as the definitive dress watch, too thick. I can think on many other beautiful timepieces from other brands that will do better (or even a 1000-2000$ gen).
This time, I won´t go for it.

I predict a lot of folks here will do catch and release once they try the 512 on their wrists. I went to an AD last December with intention to buy the gen on the spot but changed my mind as soon as it was on my wrist. The watch looks & feels so tiny! And this is coming from a guy with 6" wrist like myself. I own a gen 048 (40mm) & gen 392 (42mm) but the 512 was much smaller probably due to its case profile. I'll buy this rep and see if it grows on me. Just my two cents.

Yes I agree with above said

I saw and worn the gen several times in 2103 and 2014. People used to wear 44mm Luminor said that PAM 512 was a bit small for them. "It is perfect for woman" we commented every times. This PAM 512 due to the shape of the Radionir 1940 case wears clearly less than a Luminor 42mm.

Curiously many people said also PAM 514 with 47mm was really big. "Indeed a 45mm would seem perfect" was many times the comment

Believe me, if you don't like small watches PAM 512 is not your watch. It is for people no liking big watches and very small wrist

To clarify some other comments I will say it is really dressy... and NICE

^^ Yep agree. I think it will be too small and I have a 6.5inch wrist. I'm used to AP/Hublot/IWC3777 so yeah probably skip this one.

I've been eyeing the 399 more and more, even though it's not a super-rep. i have to feel the comments on the lack of presence from the 512 are quite accurate; 44mm PAMS seem just right for me.

You called it.

I have 6.6" wrist, but flat on top so most 44mm PAMs fit perfectly...this thing feels really small. No presence. Too thin.
