The "Seamaster" word on my OR black dial seems to be dark red rather than a bright red, should that be the case?

The latest batch or two that people have been posting on Reddit all have the darker "Seamaster". That is a shame. That was one of the only things I didn't like about the VSF NTTD was the darker red compared to gen.

Mines the latest black batch but the red writing is strong so I guess qc needs careful examination.

I got the grey/blue one two weeks ago. Dial looks a lot darker than I was expecting, and fair bit darker than gen I think.

I wear this watch ~18/7 (not 24/7, i remove it for bed), at my eyes nothing changed, plating holding up very well.
At least, now i know that the movement loses ~8.8sec a day.
I tried to make the same angle of pictures as Andrew with less clarity, quality, luminosity and "skilly" (it's 0:30 AM rn) :

I took some pictures when I received it and trust me : ceramic and engraving don't move at all. Still shining like new.

Wow, this looks amazing, enjoy it and wear it in good health.
Is it possible to install s gen swiss 2824 or 2836 ( do not know which they use) and keep the fake omega decoration plate over it?
Have been debating getting one of these in white dial but haven't seen feedback on the JVS version. Is the ORF still the way to go?

Yes it’s possible. Last time I did it I swapped over the black balance wheel to the Swiss movement too.

Orf white dial is not good sadly but the rest of the watch is clearly the best option. JVS and HRF all use VSF case and bracelet so crap crown guards bracelet is not as good as ORF either.

I can confirm that the new ORF red text on ”Seamaster” is very off. Extremely dark.
