please gentlemen, could someone tell me if the CF V2 bezel comes from the factory white gold plated? And above all, the bezel does have that GEN shine in the sun?I tried to search but I can't find any clear info here. THANKS

The v1 does have a gen like shine on bezel, not sure of its plated. Many have said it is. But it does have that 'shine' like gen. Now Im not sure on the v2, I have mine coming anyday soon so will see.

Doubt it is plated in WG. I do not have one handy, but if you do just try to compare the color between bezel and case the WG color should be a bit warm/yellowish

Crown off the tube? Sure just pull it out as hard as you can.

The V1 bezel has sharper, more angular, and deeper teeth, which IMO makes the 'shimmering' effect more pronounced than gen.

You need the right oil, but lubing the rotor is simple

It is simple enough, but you will need a watch repair kit/caseback opening tool plus the appropriate lubrication.

Just in. It's nice, but I find myself wishing I had gotten a black or maybe white dial (already have the blue). This slate dial (not rhodium per Rolex.com) is absolutely identical to my eye with the previous generation OP39. At least the reps dials are. Ofc there's the little blue markers and the OP is a no date but yeah. Probably pick up a different gen dial, they aren't too expensive.

KJ2020 I have the grey dial cf dj41. I feel like it's not even close to the color of the gen...seems much darker. What are your thoughts? And what's involved in putting in gen dial?

Haven't ever held a gen slate dial DJ41 bro so I can't compare. Swapping in a gen dial is a breeze as long as you are using a 126x dial. The CF rep dial is gen-spec with the dial rims and no feet.
