All i can say is the slate dial is Very close to gen, no need to change at all, based on seeing/holding gen. these are very close.

Just in. It's nice, but I find myself wishing I had gotten a black or maybe white dial (already have the blue). This slate dial (not rhodium per Rolex.com) is absolutely identical to my eye with the previous generation OP39. At least the reps dials are. Ofc there's the little blue markers and the OP is a no date but yeah. Probably pick up a different gen dial, they aren't too expensive.
What do gen DJ 41 dials go for atm?

What does black sunburst dial look like? Similar to a gene? What does vsf black dial look like compared to cf? Is clean with v2 frame updated better than VSF? The only thing that speaks for vsf is the 1: 1 move clone, crystal and hourly hands. CF with white gold plating has a better looking bezel v2, dw, bracelet (arf), dial color (?),

Whatever it is, it's either plated or made of a different material to look more yellow/reddish than the case. No other factory has done this before, so the bezel cup clearly goes to CF.

What's the consensus on swapping or changing the incorrect crown? Does a gen fit or can we get a rep?

If you compare it to arf, vsf bezels they are more silver (match the case) where as CF has more off a slight yellow color it it. which is more gen like
