Nah…..At that price point I'd get a gen. I've seen them priced for less than 2k.
Horses for courses I guess. Maybe in the larger market in USA the ratio of fake v used gen price is much smaller. However as I mentioned down here in the land of OZ where our $ is worth shite, the difference in prices is vast.I paid $443 shipped to me from Trusty with his awesome 8% discount at the time. Never saw that discount before but it's great and bought a bunch. I think he still has 5% which is good.
I've been leaning towards BMW760 on this though still teetering back and forth. 450 is kind of expensive for a rep that may or not be waterproof and is not superquartz and well, is fake. I've also seen gens for about 2k and I actually like this watch and for a 1500 difference is just about there in terms of having the gen for me and how I envision the usage of the watch for me if i did go that route. I did go to an AD there is almost no difference visually but I didn't handle the watch but I understand there is a case construction difference with the grain of the material (very minor). I'd probably keep the rep and put that money towards a new superocean gen since right now there aren't 42mm versions and they looked amazing in the store. That would be temporary since it has no date and less features and come back around to the Endurance Pro again which I'm looking for any excuse to get the gen and if that price dips low enough it might be the gen for me.
The Endurance pro is a fantastic rep and under 2k is a great gen. Takes some getting used to but so darn comfortable and the hands just pop and great features. It's just different.
Unfortunately not…expensive but it’s a beautiful place to liveWow, totally agree. Rep all the way. I also don't have plans to buy the gen so the rep is fine for me for now and probably will be cuz I have house repairs and it's getting to be summer and that's motorcycle time. Does Australia have anything that's not astronomically priced?
I finally bought a black and yellow version to use as my beater.Yes, I remember that thread. Actually, it was the first thing I thought about when a read it was made of breitlight.
Which one you got? I bought gen in red when it was released and its my go to watch from past 3 years. Already used it enough for the purchased price.I finally bought one. I use it as my beater.
I bought the black and yellow. I added a black Areo strap with a deployant.Which one you got? I bought gen in red when it was released and its my go to watch from past 3 years. Already used it enough for the purchased price.
Howz the strap quality? If you buy for 400 and the add gen strap it'll become 500. I've seen pre-owned around $1800.I bought the black and yellow. I added a black Areo strap with a deployant.

Do we have that buckle in rep? Which one?
GF and some other factory had them, I’ve also tried some others but none come close unfortunately.Howz the strap quality? If you buy for 400 and the add gen strap it'll become 500. I've seen pre-owned around $1800.

I bought this watch for a Beater, so the rubber Aero came from Ali Express. For my stainless Breitlings, I usually buy a Gen bracelet on eBay. I always change my watches over to deployants. I really dislike buckles..Howz the strap quality? If you buy for 400 and the add gen strap it'll become 500. I've seen pre-owned around $1800.

I used to get the gen straps from eBay but now Breitling sell certain straps direct on their website, well at least in Australia.I bought this watch for a Beater, so the rubber Aero came from Ali Express. For my stainless Breitlings, I usually buy a Gen bracelet on eBay
