And I've had nothing but good luck with the sh3135. And I've known the sh3135 to take a gen autowinding bridge but not the sa3135

depends on how financially and mentally prepared you are for screwing-up, and whether you plan to further your learning with modding watches

the first part explains how to un-case a 3135 movement and remove stem/hands
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUZ3xB5fI-k

I am going to order the watch first and then talk with a watchmaker.

Although I might try it myself. It seems like a feasible job especially since you don't need to play with the gears or the movement itself. Just being ultra cautious with the dial and hands [emoji28]

Changing a datewheel requires fully removing hands, and dial, and then resetting everything. If you really don't know what you're doing, you can f*ck it up easily

Also the gen datewheel needs trimming to work smoothly in the sh3135.

ARF datejust is listed on TDs webpages as sa3135 movement..
Does it actually have SA3135 or SH3135 movement?

I haven't opened mine personally, but from the pictures on puretime's website, it looks like an sh3135

On TDs websites it say SA3135 including Angus' website. I'm guessing he woudn't list it as SA3135 if it was SH3135 but who knows.

You give these guys too much credit.

The sh3135 was called an sa3135 until people started pointing out that it was different than the noob sa3135.

I'm guessing ARF , which I believe is just rebranded Jfactory, may not want to draw attention to the fact that it's an sh3135 which they were the only factory to use.

I mean it's obvious, just looks the movement pictures, it's got the same serial number as every single sh3135 and yuki3135

The movement is indeed the Sh3135 inside this ARF offering.

The outer diameter of the gen date wheel needs reducing slightly as the sh3135 is not quite 1:1 otherwise it sticks on a jewel.

So I went ahead for the blue dial with the kind people at chazinttime, but apparently ARF doesn’t want to sell bracelets alone. So I asked for the sporty oyster. I think it’s a beautiful complement of the case and it compliments the fluted bezel.

Me too. Already got a DW and a crystal.

Any opinions on the dial? Does it need to be replaced?

The only thing needed is to remove or chip the jewel [emoji6]
