You all seem to be so sure about the bad design of the SH3135 movement but what you say against it is said against the original 3135 calibre of Rolex. SH3135 is a one-on-one copy of that one and you seem to be all prejudiced by the old SA3135 in stead of euforic about such a milestone. Get educated about SH3135!

you don't seem to see why the SH 3135 can be a bad movement, so let a watchmaker and builder tell you why by reading these 2 threads

they are very pretty indeed!

If you are going to replace the movement, then ETA 2824-2 should fit, and I think the riyi002 movement ring for 34mm Tudor Oyster Prince will work on this watch as well

I am now slightly more inclined to get the jubilee because i have always wanted a datejust with black dial and jubilee bracelet - just like my original dream watch (Datejust 16234)

actually I might get two bracelets from the TD - I will see how much it is for an additional bracelet lol

Me too, I would like the jubilee version, but the 904 on oyster is make me wondering about.
What's the real difference beetwen a 904 and a 306 steel? Shining?

The shanghai factory making the movement have cut corners most likely from ramping up production through their new distribution channels.

IE - we are in the midst of an iffy batch

It happened with the sa3135 now it is a very stable movement even if only the DW, hands, reversing and driving wheels are interchangeable with the gen.

Again get educated. I'm not talking about Yuki but about SH3135 that JF started to use first. You refer to old stuff and I'm a watchmaker myself.

I have taken both movements aparts.

Imo both movements have synonymous poor oiling and/or reliability out-of-the-box from my timegraph results.... And both movements are very similar, except for a few dimensions and parts incompatibility (e.g. The SH can't seem to take gen automatic bridge whereas the yuki can, and the Yuki has a better dial seating for thicker gen date disc.. and different jewel sizes for both movement ).

As said above, when receiving a new rep you should always give it a service. For the SH3132, there are a lot of different opinions on it, but with a direct service, you should be fine.
I'm considering buying the v1 version of it for the reason mentioned. I was just interested in any further information on the new version.

I am talking about the SH3135 any you should read the picture based evidence that it is 1:1 with the gen calibre.

First of all, why did you quote my post from the "Oyster Perpetual 114300" Thread in here?
And second, I misspelled it should be a SH3135, not SH3132, sorry for that.

My own evidence that SH3135 is very different from SA3135 shit. Deep inside I mean, but also in the winding bridge and extremely bad cogwheels in that part of the SA3135.

Like I said, I think we are seeing variances where they are cutting corners due to higher demand

For anyone wondering how the genuine 6-digit fluted or smooth bezel can be fitted on the ARF Datejust without the bezel gasket.

This method explained by @Strodda will most likely work on the ARF Datejust too because he effectively removes the step with epoxy.

Awesome! Thanks for the info about it, all I need now is reassurance that Gen ARF DJ is a pretty Gen Spec case. Do you know of anyone planning on doing a review

Hey guys what do you think about this real aftermarket 18 kt gold bezel for 116234?

I heard that genuine white gold bezels are really soft so it you hit it on the counter or something it could take a small chunk out of the bezel and it may be annoying. But if you are really careful with your watch and you want to buy it, it will make a beautiful addition to the watch

Hey, is the dw swap something one can do by himself with a watch opener tool and carefully taking the movement out, or is it an operation only an pro should venture in?..

I am ordering the blue dial with both bracelets too! Classy jubilee and sporty oyster [emoji16]

depends on how financially and mentally prepared you are for screwing-up, and whether you plan to further your learning with modding watches

the first part explains how to un-case a 3135 movement and remove stem/hands
