New AP 26240 with 4401 Super Clone movement is coming

Feel like the batches before April were solid but these recent batches I've seen a few with the creeping chrono hand and reports of low PR and some autowind troubles.

I got mine a few weeks ago and it's great. The one thing I noticed is when I pick it up to wear it and it's completely dead the rotor spins with zero resistance... completely free. Once I get it fully wound and on my wrist the rotor can seem a bit stuck.

So I'm not sure if there is a design issue where the rotor is impinged somehow as the mainspring gets more and more wound.

I think that's actually normal? Dont quote me but I think that happens when a watch is fully wound!

LOOKS GREAT,THATS PROBABLY MY FAVOURITE DIAL BUT MY EYES ARE SO BAD I CANT SEE THE HANDS AGAINST THE DIAL.ENJOY IT.

Well, it’s not stupid if you really care about the matter. For me, paying $30-$40 a screw felt like highway robbery. I was just curious enough to do it since no other release by APSF that I have (and I have a lot) has this issue. Bizarre that everything else about this release is so damn good IMO, but they somehow fucked up production of the actual bezel screws themselves when they’ve been just about perfect on every other release.

Anyhow, I got these ones from watch2parts.

So my watch2parts 26240 screws came in, and well, they don't fit the bezel holes Typical.

Did you order the 26240 screws or another model? To same I'm disappointed is putting it mildly.

Yesi found that out the hard way as well they seem to be special made for this model
