Green arrived and I couldn't be happier.

One point of note: the issue with the poor fit of the bezel screws is an issue with the screws themselves, not the channels. I replaced each one with aftermarket and the fit is so perfectly flush that you actually have to use a bit of force to get them in. It was nearly $300 to replace the screws so it's a pretty stupid mod unless you really care about the matter, of which I really don't give a shit but did anyways to satisfy my curiosity.
It looks great. But even gen 26240 screws can have gaps.

Here is a photo of a gen 26240. It isn’t a perfect fit (does not look nearly as good as yours).

The issue with the stock screws is far beyond the existence of minor gaps. On mine, of which the QC pics are posted somewhere in this thread, the stock screws had so much play room that tightening the caseback to any acceptable level would actually cause the stock screws to be turned by a good 10-15 degrees.

Still, though, I didn’t mind it all that much as it’s not an aspect of the watch I care much about. I was curious where the defect actually was, though, and have confirmed it’s the screws themselves.

It must be nice to actually see your watch! Sighhhh. Some day, I guess. Maybe good things come to those who wait from the beginning of February to whenever their watch might ship (currently hoping for a lucky May). 😬

I was about to say, you have the best bezel screws of the bunch! Where did you get them? They matter to me, even if it's a stupid mod. Did they include the caseback screws?

Well, it’s not stupid if you really care about the matter. For me, paying $30-$40 a screw felt like highway robbery. I was just curious enough to do it since no other release by APSF that I have (and I have a lot) has this issue. Bizarre that everything else about this release is so damn good IMO, but they somehow fucked up production of the actual bezel screws themselves when they’ve been just about perfect on every other release.

Anyhow, I got these ones from watch2parts.

Thank you, for stating my position clearly. I agree. Just about everything about these 26240's are next level. The slots in the bezel screws (I can accept the wiggle / gaps) are absolutely atrocious. Befitting reps of 15 years ago.

Thanks I'll grab some from Watch2Parts. Do the threads seem strong, as in, you can tighten (within reason) without likelihood of stripping?
